<span class="bold">Sheltered</span>, a gut-wrenching survival management centered around a post-apocalyptic family, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and leaderboards, and a 20% launch discount.

Can you imagine watching the bombs drop all around your family, reducing everything and everyone you know to radioactive dust? It's a distressing sight, but now is not the time for reflective desperation. You must reach an underground shelter and seek the means to keep your loved ones safe at all costs.

Getting your family Sheltered is priority number one but keeping them out of harm's way will prove a much more taxing undertaking. Supplies are hard to come by, ruthlessness and opportunism now reign over the desolate land, and humanity reserves are running low with each passing day. How you build and equip your shelter, how you manage your limited supplies, your scavenging missions, your various encounters with people and hostile wildlife, and even the relationships within your family could mean the difference between life and death. As the head of the family you can decide the starting attributes of all its members but they will be shaped dynamically by the hardships of everyday life you are struggling to shelter them from. Potential allies of questionable loyalty will join your shelter and your family might eventually grow larger but before you can dream of building an underground dynasty that can withstand the holocaust's aftermath, make sure to come back alive from this surface mission for crafting materials. Your family's wellbeing depends on it.

Keep your family <span class="bold">Sheltered</span> from the horrors of post-apocalyptic survival, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 20% launch discount will last until March 22, 1:59 PM GMT.

IAmSinistar: I don't see the words "procedural" or "roguelike" anywhere on the game card.
I hope it's neither. Games with those features get boring as soon as the novelty factor wears off, whereas hand-placed content is always fresh and exciting.

Was making a joke about the Sacred Triumvirate of indie games these days - Procedural, Roguelike, Pixel Graphics. This game only has one of the three, barely signifying that it's indeed a new indie. Though it does have some of the other usual signifiers, like crafting and (presumably) permadeath for player characters.
Looks like it could be great fun. Wishlisted for now until have money in my account again :P
It looks interesting but depressing at the same time. Depressing is not something I need right now, so I'll pass. I hope there's something else today, something immersive, cheap and fun. I want a $9.99 Fallout 4 clone that will run on my computer. Get coding developers, I haven't got all day.

Vythonaut: It reminds me of Fallout Shelter or This War of Mine. Hope it's good at the gameplay dpt. - at least visually it looks nicely detailed.

MikeMaximus: That was my exact thought, Fallout Shelter and War of Mine had a baby.
Exactly what i thought, This War of Mine in pixel style.
It looks good but is is quite small, guess it would require to stick my head inside my screen to see whats going on.

Anyway, if you like 'strange' games then check this topic i created:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/a_indie_game_quite_new_i_found_it_while_looking_for_casual_games

its a bit weird but it looks promising, so far only screenshots and some intro videos, but the whole look of the game would look quite good among the other 'weird' games that arrived recently on GoG.

I dont know for sure but i think people on steam will probably greenlight it when the game is finished, cause it looks weird and cool.
Downside is that it seems to use a weird lighting effect, thats hard to judge by watching videos alone
so maybe its no game for me (photosensitivity) but maybe you and others might like it.

I'm guessing because the Worms games and Sheltered are both Team 17 games.
The game looks very interesting, too bad I can´t stand survival games. I need goals and surviving until you die just doesn´t cut it. :(
Awesome, I saw EnterElysium's playthrough of the Early Access version, I wasn't sure whether it would be available DRM-free...but here it is, its my kind of survival game so I'll probably be buying it.
It seems this was an early access game for some time and it's release is today: It garnered 892 reviews on Steam with a very positive rating. So if anybody is on the fence perhaps wants to have a look there to get a better picture of the game.

Thought I remembered seeing this game in early access, thanks for letting us know that it was just released :)
I'll pick it up when I get more free time.

I think it's kinda saturated... the majority of these "survival" games. But this one looks pretty cool, it kinda stands out in the same ol' crowd.
This looks exactly like the kind of game I love. But I've already bought Deadbolt yesterday, so I'm not completely sure if I should put it on the wishlist or if I should buy it right away.
Looks good at first glance. I wonder whether the fighting system is fun or not.

yup i have seen than game almost fromt the beginning, i has been in development quite long.
As for 892 pos. views, in the case of steam it is always recommended to read the neg. reviews aswell: Negative (130)

Usually the majority gave a bad review because more often then not, the game seems to be having bugs or crashing on that number of computers.

When i read a review for a casual game i always check the neg.(negative) ones aswell, until now most of the negatives complained about crashing in the games they responded to.

It seems that crashing could result in a possible negative voting, cause afteral even if 10.000. users can run a game without problems and only 100 or 400 cant then these are usually among the bad reviews.

So if you really want to make sure why the negatives, i suggest to quickly scroll through the negatives and search for crashing, or the word windows 10, cause more often then not some games wont run on win10 while other users game will run on the same win10. All a matter of luck i guess.
