Things are getting a little hairy now.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 10% off until May 15th, 12pm UTC.
Someone in Sequin Land is up to no good and Shantae just won't have it! Instead, she will hair-flick and belly-dance her way through all sorts of loopy levels, changing shapes as she goes. But will her fabulous mane and hypnotic moves be enough to defeat the sassy Risky Boots?

The Ultimate Edition includes the Pirate Queen's Quest, Friends to the End, and Costume Pack DLC.

Great release !

Another day and another game to buy, best to do it now to secure a copy before the inevitable apocalypse.

MIK0: Unfortunately early adopters of this game on Steam got a really bad deal as it won't be updated to this Ultimate Edition nor it will be provided with an heavy discount. It's not a nice move from the developers and discourage buying their games unless a complete edition comes out.
I haven't my Switch around, right now - but I guess, owners of the "not-ultimate-edition" of Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero, on the Switch will be equally screwed? (Haven't heard/read anything about an upgrade on the Switch)

INSTANT PURCHASE! HELL YEAH!!!! I had little hope on this game coming here due to company employees saying they had no plans on bringing it here. Funny thing was I was gonna get a fat pack of magic the gathering dominaria cards but when I saw this I am like F THAT! getting this right away. later on today that is :)

I was having a look at the reviews on Steam and spotted Wings of Vi in the "More Like This" section. Looks good, would like to see it on GOG.

I believe that will be the case. Considering how much recent the game is, it's not really a good way of supporting it.

I'm glad this is finally here.
I'll decide this weekend if I'll be getting this now or waiting until later since I won't be able to play until then anyway.

Too bad some publishers are all too happy to let Steam have the first bite at the apple, and only give GOG a chance after steam got its fill.

Its better than not releasing on GOG at all, but still its a shame.

Thanks GOG for another great publish, I will buy this game after price drop to reasonably level (for now is "a bit" too hight for my budget). Also I have many games to play from last sales (more games that time to play). Typical parody of our live, on first you don't have money to buy games and plenty time, and after that you don't have time to play...
