Catrhis: Frankly i didn't pre order the deluxe because i didn't even knew existed, i suspected it, but didn't found it on the page nor any link on the game page so i just took the base version

After finishing this game i can clearly say that it does worth a little more then what i paid, so i won't be against an upgrade

GOG really need a better store page, or at least a better detailed page where all option are clear and available even in pre order

Maybe i can't make my point clearer, so i will try to explain it in the simplest manner i can at the moment

On the main page on gog the deluxe version WAS NOT mentioned anywhere, perhaps the news, but not in the bloody main screen, on top of that, when entering the game page to pre order, there was no mention of the deluxe version anywhere

That's the bloody point, on steam ALL dlc/extras etc are clearly visible under it, you can't make mistakes, it's just there

Here on gog...no

At best there was mentioned that shadow warrior 2 was part of a series, that's it, no mention of deluxe or any other sign such tings even existed anywhere. This, is bad marketing, everything related to a pre order should be perfectly clearly stated, this obviously include a possible deluxe edition, it's not rocked science, steam do it and gog should/could do it too

I am not the only one either, as more then a few people brought the base version and such thing are mentioned in the game forum

It almost happened to me as well, but thankfully I noticed before release, emailed support for a refund, then preordered the Deluxe version all within a day. Perhaps it's an usability issue and GoG isn't making it clear enough there's alternate versions of a game, or maybe they just simply forgot to mention it on the SW2 page for a few days and we all got burned by it; nevertheless, it's clear a problem existed given the number of people with the same issue.

By now, however, I guess the best we could hope for is adding a $7 "Deluxe edition upgrade" to the store and directing people there; there's a preorder bonus and a Deluxe edition bonus, but I don't think there was anything exclusive to preordering the Deluxe edition itself, so it'd solve the issue quite neatly.

Yes, this way is much clearer.
It was clearly mentioned at announcing, so you just miss news. May be it need to be clearer (about existing of Deluxe version), I don't know.

I'm more worried about what I also pre-order the deluxe version, but still do not see it as "own", but I see only normal.
Deluxe goodies are here, but the problem is still problem. At least this is an inconvenience.
They know about problem but... Their speed of solving the problem depressing me.

Loger13: Same problem. Preordered Deluxe version and now it show owned regular version.
Deluxe goodies are here, but anyway this is bug IMO. Need to be fixed.
Where is Judas The Troublesolver? :) Someone summon him to the topic.
Starts to look that they are not going to solve this problem.

Did developers give any ETA about the Linux version? I can try contacting FWH about it (unless they are reading this thread).

Oh come on... from what I've heard this game was much more polished from the start than most AAA titles this year...
