Liked the demo a lot, and being a huge Commandos - Desperados fan, it was a must buy.

What? A Commandos-like game? Say no more!
Slightly surprised the 10% discount was only till yesterday when it goes to the 2nd of January on Steam.

Still I must try it out as I like Commando's a lot, and thank you Devs for releasing a demo! Those are so rare these days.
Any update on he Linux demo? Why is it still not out?
Tempted for the soundtrack, might also get the artbook + strategy guide just to support the devs. Rather reasonable price in my opinion.

EDIT:

After I noticed I read way too long about the Aiko's character art from the store page, and started getting a bit too interested about the possible intended strategies.. bought both.

Thank you for releasing something I didn't know I wanted.

hmm I think for the price of the game the soundtrack should of been included.

On another note it's great to see they have added some of that fantastic artwork as extras.

Agreed.
Linux version of demo is up now.
I will buy the base game but I am not interested in the extras.
Included goodies: Artbook + Strategy Guide (EN)+ Artbook + Strategy Guide (DE)

Languages: Audio and text: Deutsch, English

Is the strategy guide a video or what is the audio part referring to?

The strategy guide is in PDF format. There's no video or audio available in the artbook / strategy guide DLC. That's definitely an error on GOG's part.
Good god I'm an idiot. Hadn't got it yet, put it in the basket earlier this evening before sorting out dinner and such and remember after 12am and the price had gone back up.

If there is one thing I am consistent at, its not buying things when I should.
"Aiko's Choice is a brand-new standalone expansion to the beloved stealth tactics game Shadow Tactics, set in Japan around the Edo period. The game is set to release on PC in late 2021.

Aiko's Choice focuses on one of the main game's protagonists: the kunoichi adept Aiko. She is a master of camouflage and distracts enemies disguised as a Geisha. Although Aiko was certain that she left her old life behind her, a new enemy deeply connected to Aiko's past reappears from the shadows to challenge her. Together with her friends of deadly assassins she sets out to hunt down the ghosts of her past...

Sneak in the shadows between dozens of enemies, choose your approach when infiltrating enemy bases in hidden forest camps or lively Edo period towns. Set traps, poison and distract your opponents – or avoid enemy contact completely. Carefully plan your every move and come up with your own ingenious tactics to vanquish enemies and complete each of the challenging missions that lie ahead!"

Nice!
I can not buy Desperados Ⅲ, so this is as unexpected as it is exciting ;)

I may be in the minority here but I never found that the Western setting lends itself well to the real-time stealth tactics genre at all. Desperados III and the first two installments in the franchise are very good games and iconic for a reason but for me there's too much of a dissonance when the characters' arsenal/tools of destruction include loud and noisy things like revolvers or dynamite.

Edo period Japan with its shinobis, kunoichis and whatnot on the other hand fits the genre where it's all about being sneaky and murdering people as stealthily as possible, like a glove and therefore I'm really glad that Mimimi decided to give it another shot.
