Where syndicates reign supreme...

Satellite Reign an open world, modern spiritual successor to Syndicate, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with full support for GOG Galaxy achievements and leaderboards! Blow past the corporate ladder at 20% off for the first week.

If you asked half the crew at GOG.com what their favorite game of all time is, a good chunk of us would say Syndicate. While the dirty cyberpunk settings and hard-as-nails gameplay did give us years and years of classic gaming to come back to, Satellite Reign may just be the breath of fresh, corporate espionage air that we've been waiting for.
Satellite Reign, from the very days of its conception, was a modern Syndicate in everything but the name. A gritty cyberpunk world ruled by malicious megacorps, and a squad of professionals prepared to take down the system. You'll get to roam around a huge and filthy, open-world city which isn't just cool, but also gives you a fantastic tactical freedom in how you tackle each mission - there is no one right way to achieve your ends. Between tons of high-tech goodness and customization, there is an ever-present Syndicate feel to the game with one unquestionable improvement - freedom, freedom is in the musty air.

For more Satellite Reign goodness, you can also pick up the Original Soundtrack, Art Book, and a prequel Novella!

Return to the Syndicate, in spirit, with Satellite Reign, available now - DRM-free on GOG.com The launch promo will last until Friday, September 4, 13:59 PM GMT.
Ah, great memories of Syndicate Wars.

Will definitely pick this one up down the line.

Paid extra content. Hope that's not going to be the start of a new trend.

That's a trend that's been going on for a while now, but obviously on all digital stores.

Whether you think GOG should have agreed to give people the option to buy the extra content, or not, is another matter.
yay thanks 5 lives! I'll just leave this generic positive comment to try and outweigh the 'any old excuse' negative ones.

Move along, move along now.

Been like that for a while. It's usually called Champion Edition, Extened Edition, Enhanced Edition, Supercalifragilistic Edition or something similar though.
Is... is this the prettiest game ever made? :P
Just saw the launch trailer and I'm damn stunned by such details.
I don't even know what's "indie" anymore!
The future may be grim, but it's certainly colourful! Another one to get, especially if it lives up to the promise. Curious that there isn't a Collectors or Complete edition, with all the extras already bundled in.
transmission> released! finally!!!
transmission> credits transferred!
transmission> THANK YOU GOG!!!

Has been standard on gog for some time now. New games get released more or less without any bonus goddies as they were once called. You just get additional game versions for it where you can buy the goddies.

Sure, but every single item being sold as a separate DLC is definitely a recent trend with some devs/publishers and quite ridiculous IMO.

I'm really disappointed that 5 Lives decided not to offer kickstarter backers GOG keys. I suppose I expected them to be more like Larian, so shame on me.
No idea what this is. Also, when you say it's compatible with those Galaxy features, you don't need Galaxy to run to play this, right?
Yeah, been waiting for this!

Galaxy is needed if you want its features, like mentioned achievements / leaderboards. It is not required for playing the game.
