Rogue Waters is a pirate tactical turn-based roguelite – and it’s now available on GOG!

Play as Captain Cutter, commanding your ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters to seek revenge. Recruit, train, and upgrade crew, use powerful sea creatures, and engage in dynamic naval and melee combat to gain the upper hand.

You can also get Rogue Waters Soundtrack and Rogue Waters + Soundtrack containing both base game and the soundtrack.

Now on GOG!
Thanks Ice Code & Tripwire for bringing it over after all, cheers.

Stone of Madness next, please.

It's not AC: Black Flag, but could this be it? an actually good pirate game? the one i've been looking for? This one looks really good and i also kinda like the gameplay.

The only thing i'm a bit sceptical about is a rather limited open world (procedurally generated levels i guess?) and the fact that i couldn't find any info on the game engine (hope it's not unity). Another thing is, i haven't seen any indication of ship customization. No ship customization might just kill the whole experience for me.

It says the game engine is Unity on mobygames.

Looking at Steam I see some posts complaining about the game using Unity.

Indeed really happy about this!

Hopefully we see more!

Oh no! Of course they are complaining about Unity engine! I'm just going to assume there is spyware in there as well.

The game had potential, but i guess it's just another average run of the mill indie crap (missing a disclaimer about Unity Analytics!). And talk about the game being too linear didn't help either.

Many here are probably too young... ;)
We already have one of the ultimate pirate games here.
For a second I thought this was about Rogue Warrior. :P
