A fresh take on top-down shooters that emphasizes tactics and making split-second decisions. Police Stories game is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM with a 20% discount until 24th April, 1 PM UTC.

The title tells a story of two police operatives - John Rimes and Rick Jones - tasked with infiltrating gang hideouts, rescuing hostages, making arrests and getting through other life-threatening situations.
The graphics are not exactly my cup of tea, but I love SWAT and Doorkickers, so I'll definately pick this up eventually. If the discount was bigger or my backlog smaller I'd pick it up right now.

Not sure why but the cover image really made me expect a game like Police Quest instead of Hotline Miami, now I feel a bit confused.

Going by the description it's more based on the ideas of SWAT than Hotline Miami, despite pixel graphics and topdown view. And SWAT started as a Police Quest spin-off, so... you weren't entirely wrong.
Awesome release, picking it up without hesitation! :)
hotline miami clone nice :)
I'm for All Games, that have COOP, and this isn't an exception. All, who will bought this game, have fun :)
will be picking this up sometime today. good release gog!
SWATline Miami
ESL problem patrol:
As a law enforcement officer, you will have access to end-of-the-line police equipment, such as under-the-door cameras, door blast charges and many others.
When I first read "end-of-the-line police equipment", I was thinking maybe they were trying to say it was old and broken down, or obsolete -- like your character's department was working with a very small budget. Finishing the sentence made it clear that that probably wasn't what was meant, and I shortly figured out that whoever wrote that was trying to say "top-of-the-line". : )

Did they even post that link anywhere, or did you find it through Google or something? I don't see it linked on the front page, and it's not in the (English) news post nor on the store page.
Given that there are only two games on that promo page, and one isn't discounted, it might be for a cross-promotion that fell through, and they just forgot to delete it.

Does it have co-op via LAN / Direct Connect?
Looks like a decent game, but I feel like there are a lot of similar games already.
If you own SWAT 4, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number or Door Kickers, you receive an additional 5% discount, so 25% discount instead of 20%.
