I'm a backer, and I had no idea this was coming out today. What the heck?

I do read the newsletters, but apparently I have not received the last 4. The last one I got was for backer update #52. Additionally, I don't use twitter, nor should I have to. My point was that Obsidian isn't doing a good job of getting their game out there if even their backers are out of the loop when it comes to the release dates of their expansions.

Then something must be wrong with your email client - I was notified about this coming cca. two weeks ago, but I had no idea they will release it so quickly! :O

I thought it will take up at least month more!

I definitely have to hand it down to Obsidian - so far, they do everything right after releasing PoE2.
Here´s to hoping to see the last DLC before winter break.

You go, you igneous rock!

I would wait on this DLC. It's bugged and showing the same issues as the last one. The main issue being impossible to start. Loaded pre-endgame saves show the message of being contacted by the Steward but that contact never happens (for a lot of people)
Seems like it could be fun, base game PoE2 is very easy on the classic difficulty.
Have they patched the AI systems lately?

A few months ago, Shifter skills were totally missing, and you had to download a mod from Nexusmods for Cipher: Ascendant to have any useable AI sheet whatsoever...
