Reigniting the old flame.

UPDATE: All owners of the game can go ahead and grab the Rum Runner's Pack for free. It adds six new alcohol-themed items and Mirke, a recruitable sidekick that really loves her booze.
If you don't own the Deluxe or Obsidian edition of the game, you can also now purchase the game's Sountrack separately.

Note: If you already own the first Pillars of Eternity on GOG, go to your library and look under Serial Keys. You should see a bonus code which you can use to redeem your Gaun's Pledge DLC for Pillars of Eternity II.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is here, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The sequel to Obsidian's seminal RPG, which brought back all the immersion and attention to detail we remember from the genre's classics, has finally arrived. Introducing naval battle mechanics, a new vast open world, a relationship system that now affects interactions between your companions, and an epic story involving the re-emergence of an old god, it might just become the RPG you'll be replaying for all eternity!

Go for the Deluxe Edition, which includes a Digital P&P Guide, the official OST, the second Volume of the Digital Guidebook and more. You can also grab that stuff separately inside the Explorer's Pack.
Or plan for the future with the Obsidian Edition, which also grants you access to the Season Pass, that contains the first three pieces of planned DLC.

For all those experiencing download problems (greyed out buttons) please try account refresh first:

https://www.gog.com/account/refresh

EDIT: single account refresh will work, please avoid refreshing the account multiple times. There is a slight lag due to the sheer amount of requests, but we are working on speeding things up.

Thank you for your patience.

EDIT2: If after refresh and you are using Galaxy Client and on your shelf you have any other version than "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire", try buying free DLC for POE2 through the Client. That should force client cache refresh.
(DLC should be visible on Overview page [::PIC::])

previous BETA players
please switch from Public Beta to default branch to get the full version

Refreshing gave me 'install failed'. I tried again, now I'm back to perpetually loading.

amichai: Same issue here. If I try to access the downloads through the website instead of Galaxy client then each link I click for a download leads to 404 error.
The GOG Downloader link worked for me. I didn't try the direct download links.
Oh gees, it's just been 30 minutes ! It's just a game ! Remember, some people don't get clean water or basic medication ! We used to wait for months for games or movies to come to one's country.

Anyway, I don't mind if I have to wait ; I'll have a DRM free version forever. And this game is gonna take me months to complete.

:)
Refreshing worked, but now I have to buy the game I backed.
When I try manually downloading the files it says I'm not authorized to do so. *lol*
No problem, thanks for the prompt reply !

linuxvangog: It's an error on our side that we sincerely apologize for. We're re-uploading the Linux version of the game to the website right now.
Once again, I'm getting install failed and NOT AUTHORIZED. I am not given a window to enter my code. I love GOG, but this is ridiculous!
Also what I said before is confirmed: Backers and preorders don't "Own" the game in the store.

Fig Backer her and having the same issue as most of the others. Backer status changed and Buy button appearing.
Sucks that this is happening, but not much we can do then making them aware of it and wait. I mean, we are backers so, we are used to wait;)
So, after 4 refresh in the last 30 min, it ends up beeing available through galaxy. It doesn't want me to buy it once again now.
Good job gOg ...

mahen_fr: Oops, the Linux install file is corrupt (13 GB insteand of 20 GB).
I'm a Fig backer too BTW, I can download (but it's corrupt).
Cheers :)

hollunder: The refresh made the links appear, whether the Linux version works or not I can tell you in half an hour at best. I have a feeling there's a bit of a load on the servers though.

Thank you linuxvangog, I'll try to be patient. :]
Why is the Explorer's Pack Bonus DLC only available for Windows?

Windows has 4 DLCs, Mac and Linux only 3?
can't download. server problem. plus the interface is so weird. i have the fig backer version. it still prompt me to buy when i already have the game?
Using the 'buy Critical Role DLC' trick worked.

Ultimate FIG backer here, everything works as intended. The two different Deadfire game cards have merged, full game is now in the same card where beta has been located.
I was even able to add Critical Role Pack (free DLC) without problems.
