I originally wrote a comment in the community wishlist section for this game on how grateful I am that this game was released here on GOG.Com, but I was really disappointed that none of the digital deluxe content is included as a bundle or as a separate DLC add-on. As far as the quality sabotage of Patch 1.01 is concerned regarding a few line changes made post-launch after a incident was discovered in the ESRB description [which thankfully was avoided for Game Maker R:Evolution that definitely deserves a PC port and GOG.Com release] I actually really enjoyed the story of this installment a lot and I do hope that the next proper mainline entry will expand on the many things introduced here like exploring more of the PC Continent and it's CPU.
The Neptunia series deserves so much more on GOG.Com, and I am not even sure if anyone at GOG.Com or Idea Factory International is aware of how important it is to have the majority of PC ports of these games made available on this digital platform instead of favoring just one that's more popular and large that will never believe in an all-digital future of gaming where DRM has no relevance in fitting in the modern world. Hyperdevotion Noire, Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies, Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls, 4 Goddesses Online, and the original Megadimension Neptunia VII [plus Nepgya] still haven't gotten a GOG.Com release after all these years.
With all that said and written, it is no surprise that I am a huge fan of this series and I even got myself a few titles I had little interest in, those being Virtual Stars and Ninja Wars due to the lack of English dubbing, only just to support this franchise and a digital market that at least respects the integrity of consumer rights that major platforms are always standing up against in the digital market. I know this series is very obscure and not as well known compared to the majority of AAA titles in the game industry, that's why I really wish that the word could be spread more that GOG.Com and IFI needs to be more aware that there are other Neptunia games still absent on here that deserve to be made available here on GOG.Com, as well as future installments along with other IFI titles.
Edit: Neptunia Shooter and Top Nep happen to be digital only releases although there might have been a physical release made for Top Nep only in Japan.
