GOG.com: Use pheromone trails to create, automate and optimize supply chains for your ants to follow. Collect resources, produce goods, feed your queen, grow your colony and fly out to expand the species.
Sounds good to me. Building an (ant) empire could be fun. :)
"Explore a vast array of colorful biomes" Either they have a strange understanding of "colorful" or the screenshots do not represent the game well. The shown colors look rather dull. But the bigget disapointment is the lack of a Linux version. And this time it seems not to be GOG's fault.
@GOG: Where's the
prologue to try it out?
eric5h5: That said, whatever the requirements are, having played the demo for an hour it runs flawlessly in Wine on my system, though there were no graphic settings to speak of aside from screen resolution. It's a Unity game but it seems like they took the time to optimize it, as it never dropped any frames at 3440x1440; granted I didn't reach any of the super-complex stuff shown in the screenshots.
A Unity game - even more disappointing that they did not add a Linux version. At least there's hope when it runs well on Wine. Thanks for reporting! I still would like to have the prologue on GOG to try it out on my own system.
