Is this a new "theme" on GOG?
Releasing new games, that rip off old games?
I think, we very recently had one of these...

We did. It was an unauthorized Alone in the Dark remake that didn't look too sharp.

At least this beat for beat remake has something going for it, like a modern coffee maker, and...photo insert characters instead of charmingly drawn in Deluxe Paint II animations and characters?
Happy to see this here.
I look forward to the sequel which is already in development.

Rather than FMV, it is going to jump on the latest 3D graphics bandwagon. Third rate actors are expensive, much better to have low poly-graphics where you have to fight the camera perspective.

They are progressing well - there are some ingenious puzzles to entertain everyone. Let me share my favourite.

Markus Ritter has to produce fake photo ID. He does this by stealing it from a friend. By itself, the stolen ID won't be accepted, but Markus Ritter realises that everyone with facial hair looks the same, so the solution is incredibly creative:
Draw a beard onto the photo ID, and then glue some dog hair to his face in the shape of a beard.
With such well-designed gameplay, I'm sure it is going to be a hit.

Right! That's the one I was talking about.
Couldn't remember which old game was "cloned".
