GilesHabibula: Well, after checking two video reviews, I'm still getting nowhere.
This guy loves it. He acknowledges the jump scares but says they are not too many, and says this games knows its psychological horror very well, and gives it an 8 out of 10:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLUZ0FnC_kU Both reviews say there is no combat, and that it is puzzle-heavy.
So far, I've heard nothing that would keep me away, and nothing that would cause me to buy it immediately.
So I guess I'll try and find some better reviews, or maybe wait.
Man, that sucks.
The voice actor of the main character is laughable/terrible, that alone rips me out of the immersion, nothing will change that. Imagine the
Benny Hill Theme playing while you encounter Nemesis in RE 3.
Couldn't get into Martha is Dead due to shitty voice acting as well.
To me graphics aren't important in a horror game, but this is simply immersion breaking.
Edit: Before someone mentions the voice acting of the earlier RE games, back then anything scared me. :P
