The chills have eyes.

LIMBO, an eerily atmospheric puzzle/platformer about a boy walking through the valley of the shadow of death, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 80% launch discount.

By some cruel twist of fate, a little boy finds himself standing at the precipice of afterlife. He is stranded in LIMBO and his sister is here too. To find her, he must brave a haunting black-and-white landscape riddled with nightmarish creatures, treacherous machinery, and fiendish puzzles. Is he relieving his greatest fears? Is he atoning for his sins? Or is he simply faced with the horrors native to this disturbing place? All he knows is that he must press on, overcome the darkness, and conquer the physics-based challenges that keep creeping up on him. His journey will not be long, but it's one of the most profound, memorable experiences one can hope to have.

adamhm: *Sigh* Looks like another game for the Games that have native linux ports...elsewhere mix of shame :/
If memory serves, the Linux version in Humble Bundle was not a native port, which resulted in much outrage at the time (since it was advertised as such). It was just the Windows version running in a Wine wrapper. I don't remember if they actually produced an actual port later. But hold your shame, until you do your research and know for sure.

EDIT: They did eventually do a native Linux port thanks to Ryan "Icculus" Gordon.

I do actually have the game from some Humble Bundle and I did download it earlier to check - it looks like it's a native port by Ryan Gordon.

HallunX: Got it for free with connect, but there is a little problem. I had to download game first on Steam and play it to connect with GOG. You should guys fix this, because if some big games will come to connect people will need to download. I have huge library on steam but I have downloaded only few games.

Pardon my English.
I don't think I have ever downloaded the Steam version, yet I got the game fine through GOG Connect. I bought the Humble Bundle version, activated the Steam key on Steam, but installed and played the DRM-free HB version instead.

I recall that you have to set your Steam Profile privacy settings Public in order for GOG Connect to work.

yogsloth: Another useless Humble Steam key converted to GOG gold.

Thanks guys.
Same here. Thanks GOG. :)

PaterAlf: Finally! Limbo is an awesome game. Will buy another copy to support the devs (and also check out Inside).
Same here :)

Hopefully we will get the linux version on GOG too.

That's unnecessary.
When you buy Limbo in Humble Store they give you a drm-free version among with the Steam key.
I am so happy to finally see this game on GOG.com! :D

Thank you!!! :D
Can't get it!

I own Limbo on Steam, and I made the privacy settings to public. Then I click on refresh, but always says "NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND". On the game box, it says "Not found in your Steam library".

Any help? :(

Edit: Got it. Thank you, GOG! :D

Already bought it on Humble a while back, DRM-free. A shame that it took so long for the game to finally arrive here. Seems like GOG and its customer base are once again an afterthought for the devs/publisher, some place to dump the leftover scraps, after the game has been bundled to hell and back, or even literally been given away for free elsewhere.

As for the game itself, it's certainly worth checking out, especially at the current discounted price. It's short, and I thought a few areas were frustrating, but overall it's a fairly unique and enjoyable experience.

If only every launch did this immediately instead of waiting 6-12 months. :P
thanks for the freebie.
Looks like it has mixed reviews; but for $2 I'll give it a shot...

Might be a good preamble to INSIDE; which looks even neater..
Picked it up on humble a few years ago but good game even at that price its a steal.
My Steam account is already linked, my profile is public... I keep refreshing, it still doesn't work. How can I claim that LIMBO game giveaway???
