GOG.com: Release: Last Call BBS
Great. Now I want a Sawayama Z5 Powerlance system.
Good to see this get a timely release.

Sad that it's the developer's last game.
Does it have Sigmar's Garden from Opus Magnum?

Supposedly, they'll be releasing a package with most (if not all) of the mini-games found in prior games before the devs will disband forever. Not sure whether that is actually going to happen but I saw mention of it somewhere. *shrug*

The closest thing available today is a Raspberry Pi 400. I have one and use it for some light coding and data backup. If you can find the Complete Kit, don't hesitate! A coat of paint, a Linux distro change and boom - a 21st century Spectrum!
The year when I discover Zachtronics and I turn myself a truly fan, I see that it will be their last game. How ironic and cruel the life can become...:D
Boot up your Z5 Powerlance and dial into Last Call BBS, the last game from Zachtronics!
Man, they really made it sound exciting, while it's a downright depressing statement.

Oh well - nothing left to say than huge THANKS ZACHTRONICS FOR EVERYTHING, and dive into Powerlance Z5.

They've been doing Zachtronics games for over a decade and want to do other stuff now. The lead dev thought he was going into a teaching career, but after doing that for a while went "nah" and said that he'll probably continue doing game dev-related stuff after all, but not Zachtronics.
I've been playing the Steam version for a month now and enjoying it a lot. I recommend it to anyone interested.
Are these all separate games or are they connected in some overarching puzzle mechanic or narrative? Maybe like the episodes in Stories Untold or the mini games in Pony Island?

Ah I see. I thought it was a drama or something but I guess it's an amicable separation and everyone's happy.

I only dipped half a foot in yesterday evening but there is a bit of story which is a mix of the typical Zachtronics weirdness and some bits that feel a bit of a autobiographical love letter to the beginning of (PC) games. That said, Zachtronics games sometimes open up the remaining half of the game plus some new mechanics just when you think you solved the damn thing (hello Infinifactory). Don't expect too much, but there is something there.
