falloutttt: considering this devs have no reputation whatsoever.
They have! Book Of Unwritten Tales and Battle Worlds Kronos and The Dwarves are top notch.
Although with the release of Black Mirror and this one their reputation is getting worse by the minute :(

The game looks interesting, but the reviews about the game not being finished are not so encouraging. Also Linux support is missing, so I'll wait for a much lower price anyway.

"IRON HARVEST: WORLD MAP CAMPAIGN MODE IS OUT NOW

Get ready to dive back into the World of 1920+ with new game mode and more

Theale, UK – June 7, 2022 : The trenches of Iron Harvest are calling again as the award winning RTS gets even bigger with a free add-on, introducing the World Map Campaign and over 40 new missions.

The first of three updates is releasing today for PC, with the console version following later on.

Watch the trailer here.

The World Map Campaigns offer an exciting way to experience the rich world of the alternative history of 1920+. Nations in conflict fight to protect their all-new capital maps and to gain stable control over the territories. The rules for meta-gameplay are simple, but the tactical depth comes with its own learning curve and gives players many ways to optimise their own grand strategy. Quests and scenario battles will decide the outcome!

The scenarios bring challenging single player missions to Iron Harvest, revisiting the 60 maps of the game with a fresh spin. The most recent starting parameters and victory conditions will force players to command the giant dieselpunk mechs in unusual ways. Several renewed mission types with over 40 new missions in total, ranging from the classic destroying the enemy HQ to a capture-the-flag-esque scenario, and an advanced AI that adapts to the mission objective will keep players on their toes.

There are several world map configurations for the player to choose from, all with their own tactical division of the territories and victory conditions. Each world map will also offer a custom campaign editor, allowing players to set up their very own world map to conquer.

On top of that, the new 3v3 multiplayer/skirmish map Forgotten Fortress will lead players into the hazardous desert of Arabia. Together with the latest balancing and stability improvements, this update expands Iron Harvest even further, making it one of the largest RTS games on the market."

Iron Harvest is not a bad game at all, I quite enjoy it. In these dark ages for the RTS genre, it is perhaps a modern classic. Yet the glaring part missing from it is a random map generator - a problem in itself, but also highlighted by the very limited number of multi-player/skirmish maps. Marketing euphoria aside, you can't claim to be "one of the largest RTS games on the market" without a random map generator... IMHO, this is what they should have worked on in order to make the game really great.

Any word on a MacOS version coming up? I've seen rumors, but that's about it so far.

In 2020 they were not hostile towards Linux and Mac OS ports:
Hey guys. Iron Harvest Community Manager here, also known as sheep_wielder.

We hope if all goes well with the PC release and then console release that we will have a successful game with the time and resources to port the game over to Linux and Mac. We've been able to do this with our previous game and we want to do it. It's just a matter of time :)
