I played it for a bit on Steam and I was wondering, does the level of alert add up as you go on doing missions or is it something that doesn't affect your overall progress?

no, the level resets to 1 each mission.

Thank you for the clarification, I was a bit worried when I saw that warning after level 1 alert which said that it decrypted one layer of Incognita, which I felt could mean that would weaken Incognita as well.

Well, instabuy.

I find Invisible Inc to be a great game; and can't wait to see the new stuff. :)

One of the screenies hints at being able to have larger teams. Will be interesting to see if that is the case..

The random map generator can really put you in nice situations )
