This screams! Alien breed + Tower Assault...
Finally!
Been waiting for this! I played the limited demo (gamefest on steam,) and was very impressed!

Challenging stealth mechanics like the old-school days of thief/splinter cell, (sounds on different surfaces, light meter, weight system depending on the equipment you have, limited saves on harder difficulties (unlimited on easy)

The story seems to be a very by the numbers revenge tale, ok but nothing amazing, the sound system allowing you to know where the guards are, soundtrack equality awesome, good level design open with lots of flanking routes, you can play the game completely undetected, or go full rambo and most importantly surprisingly smart and challenging AI, if you are detected only the guards in the vicinity will be alerted unlike other games where the whole map knows where you are, and if you go full combat mode and try to cheese the game by camping them out after they see their friends die they will surround your position and wait you to make a move.

Considering this is made by one person, it was the best demo I played there.

GOG has had basically a month of non-stop great releases and sales. I have to wishlist this one. Any other time, I'd probably instabuy and bump to top of queue. My free time is already overextended, as is my wallet. Meh. If only I could quit my job to have more time. Oh wait, then the wallet... Adulting problems.

Strangely enough, not related to RPGs in any way.
Wow.

Looks like Take No Prisoners.

Wishlisted.

We're only half way into RPG month! And it isn't "Only RPGs" month. But chuckleworthy. There have been a lot of releases that may have been accelerated to hit RPG month, and certainly some of them count. (On the wallet side, since I'm enjoying Trails in the Sky, I splurged and bought all the Trailts of Cold Steel since they're in the sale... That was the big bucks.)
The top down view seems to be something from another game i saw on a letsplay... wishlisted...
Looks interesting - except for the top-down view.

That's easily my opinion of "worst view"-style.

I always feel like my PC has tunnel-vision in top-down games. I simply can't look down a long hallway, or see things ahead of me that would be easily seen except for the artificially-imposed limited-view. Very frustrating.

I'll look at it a little more; but if the view is "locked" that way, I'll have to pass.

Other than that, it looks fun.

GOG.com: Delve deep into the criminal world under the guise of darkness...
That's exactly what I plan to do.
Looks great! I'll watch some game play footage on youtube before buying.
