While I agree that it can be annoying to see some nice cover art only to find out the game looks completely different, it is a simple fact that this has been a thing for a very long time. NES and SNES games never matched their box art either.

Besides, this isn't even the worst offender. That award has to go to https://www.gog.com/en/game/firefrost

Some of the direction changes and a few other things remind me of Blackhole. Hopefully it isn't quite as carefully crafted to mess you up every step of the way as that game :) (anyone who hasn't tried that one and likes difficult platformers give it a try, everything being impossibly difficult makes the feeling of achievement that much better when you finally make it). Also, the pull spots remind me of Sockventure which is also quite good and starts off fairly easy but gets extremely difficult towards the end.
