Long build the king.

Hearthlands, a medieval/fantasy city-builder that lets you rule over a procedurally generated world, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 30% launch discount!

Even a king cannot hope to fully control the whims of his subjects. What he can do, however, is manage the resources, build the right stuff, negotiate with neighboring or distant kingdoms, deal with heroes or wizardry, and generally make their lives interesting. While having tons of fun, obviously.

The 30% discount ends February 13, 4PM UTC.

What? Shouldn't this be an InDev game?
Yeah according to all the material I could find this is still in EA on steam, why is it not on indev here?
To be fair, the latest update (both on Steam and their blog) was posted on October and corresponds to version 0.9.3, so maybe they have already reached v1.0 and are launching today. Can't find any official announcement about that, though...

I sent the devs a tweet about it too.
"hearthlandsgame [developer] 5 hours ago
The game is not abandoned, and there's going to be a new update this week:)"

From steam.

hmmm the devs seem to have issues with communication
It looks like someone crossed a social media web browser game with Warcraft...
People on Steam seem pretty positive, but this doesn't look like something I'd enjoy.
It looks so bland.
Is Heart on the OST?
Dev confirmed to me on twitter that the game is finished IE released, he will be making a post on steam soon:

The dev tweet to me confirming release.
mmmm, I'm a bit perplexed on this one:
From the trailer and features it seems to tick every box in a good way (except for the generic graphics) but in the end, it ultimately lacks of personality (even more so when you've already played the classics from 2 decades ago)
This game is currently on sale for $11.99 at the developers site (DRM-Free version + Steam key):

http://hearthlands.com/

I wonder why they didn't match the release discount of the GOG version which costs 13,99€ here?
This game reminds me of Beasts & Bumpkins.

Gonna watch this for now if its still in development.
My first impression of the game by the screenshots made me belive it was something like LITTLE KING'S STORY
but after reading the description there are probably other games this is more like.
migth pick it up later.
