Judging by the disclaimer the game is early access, right?
I will never understand this. If I am aware that a game has issues I should not start to sell it until I've actually managed to fix these issues ... and we are not talking about an indie price level here as well. Customer as beta tester who has to just "trust" the devs/publisher that they will fix things sometime in the future ... yeah, no thanks.

Add to this that Microids has a long past with not fixing issues that were reported to them via support tickets. Syberia 3 is still a buggy mess i.e.

I don't think it is early access, they have just run into a few problems with the GOG build and are trying to fix them.

The game has plenty of issues on Steam too. Must be the usual case of some executive demanding a release, despite the fact that the game needs 2 months more in the oven.
We apologise for making you wait for Flashback 2 on GOG, which is now available. However, the game still experiences several video issues. Please, trust that our teams are working hard to bring patches in the best timing possible so fans of the first hour and sci-fi aficionados alike can enjoy the ride without perturbation.
There's that saying "you only get one shot at making a first impression". I remember the time when games weren't released until they were actually polished. Sure, one, two maybe three post release patches to address minor issues were not uncommon, but still...

A sign of the times... gaming is business and revenue driven, nobody listens to the devs.
I thought this would be a remaster of Fade to Black, the first sequel.
is the game good? :D I mean like is it 40 money good? :D
I played the original on Amiga and Fade to Black on my PSX.

I've been asked to pre-order Flashback 2 months ago and I'm so glad I didn't. I was really looking forward to this game and apparently it's an utter and total bugfest with shit controls, massive lags on lightning quick systems, save point infunctionality, generic levels, characters that 'look AI generated' (according to Steam reviews).

You couldn't fix that in six months. They will not fix that at all.

This is so sad. It looked promising and now they're just shooting themselves in the head. GOG doesn't get a lot of high profile games these days, so when they do and the AAA industry does its AAA m*therf*ckery, that damages GOG as well.

Who would have thought that worst game of the year WOULDN'T be Lord of the Rings: Gollum after all?

@GOG: Please don't send me a reminder that this game is out.

Yeah we want Fade to Black instead of this, watching the trailer felt like you were taking a dump when you ate a really spicey meal the day before.

I remember enjoying FtB, but I also recall the controls feeling janky and lots of deaths due to trial-and-error. Not sure it will have aged all that well. *shrug*
Another GOGer just told me that the game does not even start because there are files missing.

The folder called "output_BurstDebugInformation_DoNotShip" in the install directory doesn't instill a whole lot of confidence.
Come on... Even 2 days later, I can't turn on the game... When the hackers had the game since 48 hours and it works well... I don't know why I bought a game to have a black screen after the logo...
