GOG.com: Release: FLAKE The Legend of Snowblind
I like (most of) the design.
I don't really like the voice over.

Also: the blurb mentions a "thin white line", the trailer mentions a "thin blue line". It was only missing the "thin red line".
Kinda inconsistent.
Cute graphics. :-) I especially like the backgrounds and the design of the other characters.
Only the protagonist itself looks a bit out-of-place. The sprite is very basic and oddly flat... I assume it is an artistic choice?

Yeah, that's the one design decision that I don't like as much.
The protagonist is missing some more details/shadows, but mostly shadows.
The "head/hair-zone" has zero shadows.
The highest shadow seems to be under the "chin" (if we wanna call it that), and the head/hair part of the guy is simply too big, to be completely devoid of shadows.
Everything around him has more details and shadows.
The way it is, FLAKE stands out like a sore thumb.

The character design and art style reminds me of Jeff Smith's "Bone" series of comics. (And the "Bone: Out from Boneville" and "Bone: The Great Cow Race" adventure adaptations by old Telltale games which are sadly not available anymore anywhere. Community wishlist entries one and two )

NK, that was my first thought, too. :)
