Your post-apocalyptic playground.

UPDATE: The game comes with full Cloud saving support, exclusively on GOG Galaxy.

<span class="bold">Fallout 3 GOTY</span>, a post-apocalyptic action/RPG of ridiculous scale, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

History as we know it got rebooted in 2077. As soon as you step outside Vault 101 and into the Capital Wasteland, you realise this world is overflowing with opportunity as it is with radiation. Who will you be, in this poisoned land? A curious adventurer, a mischievous scavenger, a heroic savior, or a terrible thug? No matter your path, the intuitive V.A.T.S. combat and the ever-present customization will make it a memorable one.

Want to dip your toes into the game's vast modding scene? Check out our <span class="bold">Mod Spotlight</span>.

Johnathanamz: Please a gog.com employee tell me that the multi core problems and crashes are fixed in the gog.com version of Fallout 3 before I purchase Fallout 3.

I can make it work in a .ini tweak, but I'd prefer to always have it work right after I finish installing it.

If gog.com you made it work right out of the box thank you very much.
Purchase and then play either Tale of Two Wastelands or Soul of Fallen Worlds.
Edit: to clear things up, both use FNV (updated) engine on F3 data.

Thiev: Mod for everything...
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19083/?
Perfect!

Exceed20XX: Have you combed the Nexus mod site lately? FO3's been around so long that somebody's had to have had the same idea as you.
No, it has been years since I've played the game, but I had thought of looking for something like it for a third playthrough. And sure enough, like you said, someone already had that idea and even made a mod ^
Woaow, the day finally came ! :D Fallout 3 & NV & Oblivion ! That's really great !

I heard a lot of good things concerning Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but I remember vaguely one was supposed to be better... Which one it is and why ? Are the two "must buy" ?

Edit : For people wondering this kind of things too, a thread has been created here :)

is the GOG version uncut in Germany?
They're here! And I'm broke so they will have to wait. But rest assured, there will be a giveaway at some point. A later sale perhaps. :P
Oh yay, the best of the series is here. Shame about New Vegas. :P
Can I play the gog-versions of this, new vegas and oblivion with the community updates?

Thiev: ....
May I inquire you on whats going on with Kerbal Space Program 1.3 offline installer release?

Today's news is that KSP has been aquired by TakeTwo , which may mean we never get 1.3 update for Linux(and Mac) if they withdraw the rights from GOG :((

1.3 has been released on Galaxy 7 days ago.

Thank you!..
I'm assuming that seeing as you guys got the Oblivion Script Extender updated, the Fallout 3 & NV Script Extenders also have been updated so they work with the GOG versions?

DrearierSpider: Hopefully the GFWL remnants left over in the Steam version have been completely gutted, too.
avatar
Smannesman: 50% off?
Really?
I'll wait for Connect or a much better deal.
avatar
DrearierSpider: You'll probably never see any Bethesda, Activision or EA game go on connect, unfortunately.
GFWL was never a problem for me, still works to this day. :D Though there has been a mod to rid the game of it for many years now. Kind of mandatory with every install.

FOSE and NVSE worked already, so there was no need to update them.
OMG yes they are here at last :D Wonderful! I was really surprised and pleased to see them here.
Very good, and finally DRM free. Tried to run my copy last year, but could not get it to run on wine because of the DRM.
Cool....I was thinking to buy a PS3 version of those games but it seems I'll update my plans...
