Free games are the best. Well, technically speaking, they're usually the worst, but they are a great financial value!

Early access usually comes at a discount, as you are kinda a "beta- or even alpha-tester", so you may have to expect troubles but might be able to give valuable input.

Still new to me that it is "free"... at least not because of this condition itself. Some games that are almost abandoned or with very slow progress may become free at some point as you can not expect a lot anymore; and it is probably free to get hosted if you offer it for free. Maybe as a dev you may even get a bit of cash back, it totally depends on the individual condition, so i can not make a general statement. GoG will keep shut about, so you will never be able to hear the exact conditions. Offers and conditions are usually more or less individually made and according to the revenue expected.

I think this "hidden gem" may become finished at some point, but i do not expect any quick progress... according to the history of updates. Every bit of help may be useful... i hope the dev may find some more love or possibilities once again, because this game is worth it.

I'll have you know OpenTTD is the shizz. It may be the granddaddy of tycoons, but it has a new coat and it can suck you in for days on end.

Never heard of this project before. But it looks really nice.

Hopefully, Ragnarökr Project will continue to develop this project with the boost of interest it is currently getting from GOG.

But either way, thank you, GOG and Ragnarökr Project. I'm always happy to experiment with free games, even if they are not done. If this had a price tag on it, I likely would have waited until it was finished, but for free? Sure, why not. May be a good way for the dev to get some exposure, if nothing else, especially if the dev shows talent.
