How to restrain your dragon.

Drakkhen is now available DRM-free, on GOG.com.
On a faraway island, the dragon lords stir from their slumber. If their foretold rise to power comes to pass, the age of man will come to an end, eclipsed by the winged reptiles of old. At the emperor's behest, four heroes set forth to cancel the apocalypse, traveling through 3D vector landscapes, solving devious puzzles, and fighting terrible, pixelated enemies in real-time. Prepare yourselves, heroes, for this ancient enemy is far from toothless.
Call me crazy but are some of you guys a bit off topic here? Not that is bad per se. I just came here to read reactions to Drakkhen but there is room for more I guess.

I had the NES version back in the day and I wishlisted the heck out of this. I am just hoping Piko gets Super Hero of Hoboken out but I totally understand why they are starting with better known titles. They have some great games in their collection right now.
It's actually funny how everyone is talking about the SNES version even in the reviews. I mean, this was a minor hit across Europe. This is as if GOG was not done for old DOS games, or is as if 40 year old gamers that managed CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT did not exist anymore.

Pretty sure it must be the emulation scene thingy.

EDIT: having said that, I have the feeling that the SNES version was a bit more polished, with clearer objectives and a main quest that did not feel that broken. Am I right? It does not have the speed of light that the DOS version has, but...

That's super cool!! Thanks for bringing back Drakkhen. Insta-buy for me :D

Can we all hope for Eternam now?? Apart of being a cool underrated Infogrames classic, it had that hilarious Drakkhen spoof in it.
