Yes.

RPGler: Yes.
That's good!

Also, does the game randomize any of the loot?
high rated
Finally, the reason for my nickname has landed.
(for context, my full nick is CD LABS: Radon Project, because back in the day I was dreaming about Radon Labs and CDP performing a fusion)
To GOG team and Developer/Publisher, thank you, you're all awesome and what a fantastic release discount!

This year has been full of good surprises here at GOG, keep them coming.

P.S. For 1 second I thought about waiting for the complete edition of the game since I have the retail versions of both, but the heck with it, instant buy. =)

paladin181: Yes. River of Time and Phileasson's Secret should be coming soon!
I hope so!

This is awesome news that Drakensang CRPG is here.
Hopefully, RoT and PS is next!

Just checked the download session: Version 1.03, WTF? Why not 1.1?

Not any. But mostly what common enemies have. What animals and plants bring depend on your skills.

Crisco1492: As someone who's never actually played Drakensang, how hardcore should I expect it to be? Morrowind levels of difficulty, or Skyrim levels.
Well, both Morrowind and Skyrim are piss easy. I remember beginning to play demo of this game, but never getting far. I also remember reading that this game really doesn't like spellcasters.

Other than that, I concur with NWN and Dragon Age comparison, the main difficulty of this game is in it being based on German pen & paper RPG, with very arcane rules, even compared to D&D.

Anime-BlackWolf: Hm. Can somebody please check if we need to manually patch the game to "Gold Version v1.11"`?

All three installers are called / labeled as version v1.03. There seems to be a final patch for version v1.11, is that one included???
That's likely just GoG's internal versioning/naming convention striking again.
Still needs to be confirmed though.

Absolutely. It´s not advertised as the gold edition; that can make us even more suspicous...

Swedrami: Neither.
Think more along the lines of Dragon Age: Origins or Neverwinter Nights. And not necessarily in terms of difficulty but in general.
Ah, alrighty. So, in terms of difficulty, "prepare to be frustrated" but not "rue the day you downloaded this game".

Well, I played The Black Eye (on which Drakensang is based) and I have to say, the rules were more logical and better to handle than the ones of D & D.
Especially the magic system of D & D is totally crap.
Omfg!!!! Finally!! Yay :D
