A diabolical demon dooms a teeming island to destruction. Five legendary lieutenants and their minions descend every seven days…but that allows ample time to prepare. Survive, craft, train, and gear up to defend the island!

Doomed Lands from Freedom Games is now available on GOG with a -20% launch discount that lasts until April 25th, 4 PM UTC!

This open world survival and craft title with RPG elements and beautiful pixel graphics is built around survival and preparation. In this world each demonic lieutenant arrives every seven days accompanied by an army of minions full of non-garden variety gnomes, extraterrestrials, among other supernatural pests. But we can make the most out of those seven days. If we can survive the doomed lands and its many challenging environments, from scorching deserts to frozen waste, we can set a trap and defeat the demonic menace’s myriad of allies!

Gather, transform, build, raise and… don’t die! And if you are the kind to take on the biggest challenges, aside from normal mode there’s also a built-in roguelike mode, where every mistake can be the last.

Check it out now!
Kinda sounds like The Horde with a bit of Stardew Valley sprinkled in there.

the horde really needs to make a digital appearance. never played the cd version with fmv, just stills in the cutscenes in the floppy version.

this, of course, looked interesting at first, but the whole 'you have 7 days to prep for an invasion/boss/whatever' thing killed it for me immediately.
Well, at least the system requirements are low. =P
So another pixelated game, trying to mix Minecraft and Harvest Moon (Stardew Valley is based on HM you dum dum) and give it a title that doesn't fit well with the theme?

Also crappy trailer.
This looks interesting! Seems like you get a pet dog that helps you out too :)

I wonder what happens if you die though? It says seven days to prepare before every boss, so if you die to one of the bosses, do you start over from the beginning again?
Feels like a trend chasing mish mash of concepts cheaply made and shoved out the door as fast as possible.

Could be wrong to rush to judgement so quickly but I doubt it.
