IanM: would there be any point? probably just a glitch from the game going from coming soon to available status, but I've raised tickets for far more serious issues like blank screen on checkout and all support say is browsers on linux aren't supported.

as for the regional pricing and dlc my objections are mostly directed at Larian - they had great crowdfunding and should've priced fairly, they didn't so I'm not sure I could even enjoy the game now
I think the whole reason for the region pricing is the physical versions of the game.
They cant undercut the retail publisher , if they do its a breach of contract.
Im not sure but i dont think its larian themself that are seliing out the physical copys.

I have lost count of how many times I've watched the film, yet every time I feel the same excitement I did the first time I did, it's that damn brilliant! :-)

IAmSinistar: Sorry, I was being terribly oblique. Der Tötenbus is my pet name for that theoretical bus that could kill any of us tomorrow. The ad you shared invoked its menacing present as an excuse to have a fag. And I was merely adding that it is often invoked to excuse any number of our excesses. :)

I don't care what the precise details are, they had the power to say no to these boxed copy retail contracts, they made the choice to rip off price the dlc. No amount of defending by fanboys and apologists is going to change my opinion, the regional pricing is either weakness or greed, the dlc at nearly $14-$15 is disgusting.

GOG are trying with the fair price codes, but it doesn't take the sour taste away, any goodwill and desire I felt to support Larian is gone.

I haven't followed all your posts in this thread, but is that what the price is showing in the UK (I assume it' 9.99 pounds?) Holy crap, I can see why you're pissed. Hell, I think 10 bucks US is overpriced for the DLC.

Just saying that coud be the reason.
Im totally against region pricing myself when it comes to digital content and find the whole idea of region prices just stupid and way to create artificial borders on the internet when there is none, unless its to make it cheaper for poor contrys but that rarly happens.

The game was well into development when they run their crowdfunding campaign, i.e. it's quite possible that agreements with retail publishers were already signed and we just didn't know it at the time.
This is not meant in defence of Larian, I was pretty upset when it came to light in that infamous "Good news!" thread.

This makes me think of my university days. A buddy and I came up with something similar that we referred to when we meant something that would never happen: the bus load of nymphomaniacs.

Thinking about it a bit now though, I figure if that bus load of nymphomaniacs did show up, it would likely turn out to be Der Tötenbus after all... :P

£6.99, the exchange rate says exactly $12 just now which looks better than it did earlier today. Still a colossal rip off...

EDIT: did the dlc price get reduced to £6.99? was it £7.99 or £8.99 earlier?

EDIT: €9.99 is $13.60, which is what Europeans are being charged right now
