fr33kSh0w2012: What in the flying fuck?

Since when did GOG start selling Smartphone games?

this game is FOR smartphones and a shitty PVZ clone made by a gen Z.

All in all what the fuck have you become GOG?
why not ? it seems to be big bucks business ........

Personally u stick with l games to play on at least a vga monitor and / or bigger screen ... but never smaller :D
ofcourse it is easier to play games on a mobile or pad, which you can play anywhere ....

Anyway if it can make people extremely rich then why not ?

Lone_Scout: Looks like Plants Vs Zombies...
With the difference that gardening isn't an exponent of human greed.
Plants Vs Zombies... is very good and funny ... many other small mobile games maybe not that good, don't know cause i will never play on a tiny screen.

WinterSnowfall: Or are you a person who is concerned with the environmental impact of an energy-dependent software solution that is meant to solve a problem society has created in the first place? Well now, are you one of those hippies? 'Cause I am :P.
Regarding the ""environmental impact of an energy-dependent software solution"" and any/many other climate releated ""issues"" ....

they maybe good or bad.... we don't know that yet.

What they do know is that the best friendly energy had problems when places were having snow covering solarpanels and turbines... they also said that usually when there is no blizzard, the turbines wont be that efficient...

Anyway they work a charm when there is lots of sun for the panels , and wind for turbines....
when its very cold and they are needed most they, seem to have some ""small"" problems
avatar
LiefLayer: How the fuck this shit got the gog approval?
You refuse so many games and you approve this shit propaganda of crypto money? (that create so many problems for the environment and for gamers that would like to get a gpu paying a normal price).
By curating i assume..

Well, they seem to have fewer problems than the more conventional power sources had. And with even a little investment in the basic infrastructure all of these problems could have been avoided...
high rated

Hey, if anyone wants to mine crypto on renewables, sure, have fun with it. Though there are better ways of eating up your compute power, some of which are useful, or at least contribute positively, to society and/or science (like grid computing).

But I am certain most people don't. Some because they don't live in an area where that is an option, and some because they just don't care much about this aspect.

P.S. Renewables are not only limited to solar and wind. There are also tidal generators, geothermals, hydropower, saline-based thermal solutions and many more. My hope is we will live to see house-powerplant sized fusion reactors be a thing. I'd even settle for giant ones that can compete with nuclear fission reactors, which are the equivalent of a clown juggling nitroglycerin bottles. Sure, modern technology has turned it into a robotic clown with multiple safeties, yet the potential for bad things to happen is still there, as we are, sadly, constantly reminded. And waste is a problem with fission as well.

Replace the old way of transport by using environmental friendly solutions: trained big bumble bees that deliver the packages , or maybe huge pigeons ....

anyway .... they are a little late .... they did little to nothing in the 50's till 2000 .... and now they are in a hurry ? ٩◔‿◔۶

Sign me up for a steampunk future where we fall back to airships, dirigibles, zeppelins and blimps. Also, carrier dolphins, Johnny Mnemonic style, but more freight oriented :)).

I don't think anyone is in a hurry, at least not more than usual, which is worrying. But then again we get what we deserve, and if we value the economy (a thing of our own design) and personal gain over having a relatively mild global climate... here comes the churn.

True ... no one is in a real hurry .....

It's a fact little to nothing was done in the past decades ( talk but no real action) .... i have seen many scenarios and predictions , in the past 50 years , on tv, radio, newspapers , magazines etc etc etc .... ٩◔‿◔۶ and always nod my head ...

If you search online for the gesture they explain it as:

""used to indicate disagreement, denial, or rejection.""
which is not the case, it's more like a deep sigh , like omg ... it's kinda sad to hear and read it, and if i live to become 110 i will keep shaking the head .

Anyway, things will become more crazy by the day , it's just sad to see it all happen.

I have the same sentiment, sadly... In any case, we're along for the ride and the world as a whole seems to be in this state of mind.

i know that dog in the fire ... i have seen more images like this on the internet, this is a way to tell people: ""relax... nothing is happening... everything is under control and you will all be just fine .. "trust me : :D""

Anyway what is 2030 BTW ?
Hello!

Great topic! If you are interested in accepting Bitcoin, I recommend checking out this fascinating article https://en.cryptoprocessing.com/cefi-vs-defi-vs-tradfi. It gives an interesting overview of the differences between centralized and decentralized wallets, as well as traditional finance. This is a useful read for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of how financial technology is evolving.

And as for accepting Bitcoin, it can be a great solution for your business. Bitcoin provides fast, secure and decentralized transactions, making it an attractive option for many entrepreneurs.

If you have questions about accepting Bitcoin or if you want to discuss the topic of this article, let me know!
