What will you do, when the ground starts shaking and something rather unusual is happening right behind the walls of your very room? Creaks game is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM. In this casual adventure title from the creators of Machinarium, you slowly descend into a world inhabited by avian folk and seemingly deadly furniture monsters.

Dogmaus: I will just trust this studio with everything. Amanita, no need to say more. It's gorgeous. I like that it's "casual". I am thankful for them always bringing their games/art on GOG.
About the achievements, maybe it has an inner system of achievements like in Pilgrims, that doesn't need Galaxy support, or they forgot to mention? A lack of achievents could be disappointing as I bet they could come up with creative ones, but I'd rather support GOG in any case.

Alexim: Why Creaks is without achievements since Pilgrims had them? Why this involution of Amanita?

Dogmaus: Pilgrims as I was saying has achievements in game and not in the integration with the launcher. Maybe this is the case again. Let's wait or ask.
Pilgrims has also Galaxy achievements as you can see on the store page:

eric5h5: I think everyone is just so used to GOG screwing up links that we hardly even notice anymore.
But this one works fine from the news page, just not the forum. I don't remember that happening before, so they may at least be persuing new and innovative ways to break links.

I also noticed that the collector's edition store page only mentions soundtrack(mp3), however the DLC page mentions that (as previously) they are available in FLAC as well. They usually have good music.

I could swear I've seen another game like this with a similar art style, but I can't remember the name of it.

Machinarium? Pilgrims? Samorost? Chuchel?
Or maybe Candle, even? It has those lavish handpainted views

Can we expect Linux port for this?
Most of AD games are multiplatform...

Xabyer_B: Of course, no achievements for GOG. I'm tired of this situation. I'll wait to humble bundle edition to get DRM-FREE edition + steam key (with achievements). At least there companies do not treat us as second-class buyers.
or talk to the devs as they are the ones not implementing it. Treating Gog store as a second-class one.

Not my problem. I'm not a CD Projekt worker. I'm a customer that can choose where to buy my games in function that the store offers. Of course, I prefer DRM-FREE with Galaxy extra functions and choose freely if I use them or not.

I really enjoyed completing Chuchel 100%. I had to play an extra time after finishing it, which if I had not had any achievements I would never have played. I don't think every game deserves it, (do 100% achievements), but I don't like to be taken away from that possibility, just because I want to buy them from GOG.

But as I said, it is not my problem, it is a problem of GOG / CD Projekt and the developers. Whether they want to solve it or not is not my concern either. The only thing I can do is make it clear that they have lost a buyer for not offering me a feature I am looking for. It is the job of GOG / CD Projekt to negotiate with the developers, to offer them better conditions for publishing their games without losing features. My time is to solve my own problems.
The game seems to be getting a fair bit of coverage on news sites. Will have to buy it eventually.
