Nice to see these finally here (well, episodes I-V anyway), but I am still not biting.

When doing research for these many years ago Keen VI was found to be published by Form Gen only, with no co-publishing by Id. This is the reason behind the rights issues for Heretic II and the Hexen II expansion, which also weren't co-published by Id. Best I can tell is that the rights for Keen VI are being held hostage by Infogrames (I refuse to call those asshats Atari).

Keen Dreams Shareware (don't know the difference to the full version) can be downloaded from 3DRealms' FTP:

Very cool will have to get it.
So for those who don't really like your flavors to be so DOS, might I kindly suggest a look at Commander Genius, the very code mature source port?

So to clarify why two games are missing. idSoftware simply doesn't have the rights to publish them.

Keen Dreams is currently owned by an actual idiot who bought the rights of the game for $1500 from Flat Rock Software, who owned SoftDisk (the publisher of this episode, it was not published by Apogee like the other episodes).

Aliens Ate My Babysitter was published by FormGen, so not Apogee either. FormGen was later bought by GT Interactive, which in turn was acquired by Infogrames eventually transformed into today's Atari Inc. which is a subsidary to the french company Atari SA. So the rights for publishing that episode probably lies with them.
Well...
Skyrim, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Doom (2016) and Rage - next please!
Not that interested but nice to have them here.
Got it also didn't know all the controls but i found if i press F1 it explains them.
IT'S ABOUT FREAKIN TIME! I bought this twice from steam and the 3drealms store. Probably the only game series I beat multiple times throughout the years. Now if we can get Night Dive or some other company to dig up the rights for "Aliens Ate My Babysitter" then we'll be all set.

Big fan of keen which is why I have "From Star Gnosticus IV" under my username.

at least the 3rd time I gave in to an older game on steam, then it shows up on gog where I prefer to have such things. freedom force 1-2 was unavailable at the time, removed from gog for some reason, then after I got it on steam it came back. grabbed tachyon on steam as it wasn't on gog, then it showed up. and now this.
Great release!

God speed to anyone attempting a playthrough of Keen Must Die! :P
Nice to see Commander Keen finally here, hope in the future we can see the remaining two episodes too

Reading through the quotes of the new owner made this an easy decision. No thank you. As an American, I'm still shuddering at the thought of how many of my tax dollars went to trump (lowercase intentional).

I'll pass, but GOG, thank you very much for the thought and generous discount! :)

If you misunderstood, the Commander Keen games published here on GOG today are not published by this person. It's by idSoftware, owned by Bethesda. So the decent folks.
