Get ready for this news – because we have a whole bunch of goodness from Slitherine!

Combat Mission Battle for Normandy (-60%) faithfully recreates the experience of tactical land warfare in Western France during World War Two – and it’s now out on GOG!

The game covers the three month period following the Allied D-Day landings, from Operation Overlord in June through the Cobra Breakout in August. The tough fight has become the stuff of legend and Combat Mission's high standards for accuracy and detail means you'll experience the fighting as realistically as can be.

Along with this title, you can also get:
Combat Mission Battle for Normandy - Battle Pack 1 (-60%)
Combat Mission Battle for Normandy - Battle Pack 2 (-50%)
Combat Mission Battle for Normandy - Commonwealth Forces (-60%)
Combat Mission Battle for Normandy - Market Garden (-60%)
Combat Mission Battle for Normandy - Vehicle Pack (-60%)
Combat Mission Battle for Normandy Complete (-10%)

But that’s not all! We’re also launching Combat Mission Shock Force 2 (-60%), which will bring you to a hypothetical conflict in Syria between the forces of NATO and the Syrian Army.

Take command of US Stryker Brigade Combat Teams (SBCT) and Heavy Brigade Combat Teams (HBCT) to fight against Syrian Army Infantry, Mechanized and Armored units in an arid setting. Experience the full range of modern threats to conventional military forces, including irregular combat forces, terrorists, spies, suicide bombers, IED's and other deadly tools employed in the asymmetric warfare of the modern day.

And with this game, you can also get:
Combat Mission Shock Force 2 - Marines (-60%)
Combat Mission Shock Force 2 - NATO Forces (-60%)
Combat Mission Shock Force 2 - British Forces (-60%)
Combat Mission Shock Force 2 Complete (-10%)

All discount offers end on September 3rd, 1 PM UTC. Enjoy!

Amazing, are we getting the rest of the games? There's a lot of them missing.

Thanks Battlefront, Slitherine and GOG, please keep them coming!
high rated
The discounts are a bit strange.

If you buy the complete versions of both games, you'll only get 10%, but if you buy each game with all its DLCs seperatly, you'll get ~ 60 % in total.

I already have SF2 from their store. But having a GOG version won't hurt at all. Lol

The DRM for these games has been nasty. Had to concact Battlefront support to be able to activate the bloody things a few times. Glad it is DRM free, but Combat Mission REALLY needs a new engine because the performance is so terrible I can't play them anymore :(

I'm guessing the key that comes with the game didn't work? I never came across that issue, but it's a reason I don't buy much from them anymore.

Thanks for reminding me how bad the CM engine is. Lol. It has been while since I played it.

Indeed. One of the most draconian and paranoid drm mode ever.
But once those games were available on Slitherine/Matrix the method was just the usual code and installer. No more limited installations or crap like that. A Steam code was also available for those interested.

Now it is even better, indeed. Available on GOG

I guess the availability of these game finally on GOG have to do with the recent purchase of Battlefront by Slitherine.
I can't believe Slitherine parted with these!

And then...

... I look at the price. Eegads! ;)

i got Black Sea running quite well in the end. I do believe i had to make some file adjustments but nothing more than that. Found some interesting details on the topic while browsing on the subject
The complete edition is almost $70 more than buying the components separately. Huh?
Not the first time this happens. You will pay the price of the catalog teasing you as not owning the Complete Edition after the purchase of all components.
Wow, such huge disparity in pricing between the Complete and standard versions :(
Sadly, too late to the game, would've otherwise attempted the first post to the announcement as:
"Combat ready, reporting for duty".
Too bad all the CM2 games are busted on AMD graphics cards. I have to use a two year old driver to get them to work.
