Experiment513: How would you implement DRM-free multiplayer options then over the internet? :) I know one but I wonder how you would implement it.
The same way thousands of games already do: give players the ability to host a game and connect to a game. Your everyday IP networking. The vast majority of multiplayer games on GOG already support gaming like this. There are a few rotten eggs that require third party services. A few rotten eggs have things like CD keys to prevent restrict players.
