RedRagan: Also I already own several of em (from gifts and purchases) but I'm more interested in the artworks displayed on the bundle's cover. Is there a way to find those artworks online in high qualty/resolution so I can use them for my wallpaper?
You could check out the Artists Galleries like this guys.

Of course it's not really set up for Wallpapers since that would probably need to be licensed.

RedRagan: I guess they desperate for sales after DnD movie flopped hard in theatre.

Reaper9988: That bad huh.
Yeah, at first they brag about it went above John Wick 4 (even though DnD movie is on the 4th place on Box Office record) But then John Wick 4 clowning on DnD when they shot up way above DnD later on.

I guess all those controversies really killed people interest in that movie.

Thank you for the link. I can still try to use them for my laptop wallpaper slideshow. It's not like I want to get a framed version and putting it on my house.

Huh? It flopped? I thought it was better than the trailers made it look.

I'd say same error as MArvel and the others make, you don't screw with your fanbase.
And Wotc screwed really bad.

Actuallly the movie was pretty good (from people who already watched it.

But they released it on the worst time and situation possible. They must compete with John Wick series that's already have strong fanatical following and blockbuster monster that is Super Mario Bros movie that going to reach $1 billion soon. The bad situation was they pissing off their hardcore fans by trying to monetize the fanmade contents, and then double down by insulting the fanbase when they protested. Also there's a lot other controversies that pretty much killed the hype for DnD as a franchise.

Can you elaborate on that further please? I'm not much of a D&D fan... Come to think of it, that may be why I found the movie to be enjoyable lol. There was nothing for me to get upset about.

Hasbro/WotC planned to rescind the Open Game License - which was supposed to be perpetual and irrevocable - and replace it with a license that specified that WotC would decide which content could be published and receive a large cut of sales.

Their plans were leaked and caused such an uproar that WotC has backed off (for now).
D&D was better with TSR.
I admit that I don't know too well many titles from this compilation, but considering that vast majority are cRPG that are either quite hard or quite long (or both), I can't imagine how much time would it take to complete all games from it.

Whoever achieved (or will achieve) this, should receive some kind of gamer's medal or trophy :)

Another reminder, to play your games, not just buy them :P

But they look so pretty on their digital shelves! Opening those mint virtual boxes would ruin the value of those 1s and 0s. ;)

The licensing debacle is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a lot more controversies followed after that. it's like avalanche of shit mountain that pretty much buried people trust toward DnD especially Hasbro.

I got lambasted on here for suggesting such. But I do love the second edition rules. They were complicated, but once you got familiar with them, calculating hits and such was a second nature to me. I made some really good PC sheets in the 90's with all the pertinent information. I still have my 2nd Ed books around here somewhere.

I play a combination of 1st and 2nd Edition. Anything after 2nd is D&D for Dummies.
