UPDATE (22/03/16): Episode 5: Terminus brings the long-awaited closure to Hope's story.

Terminating issues.

Republique: Episode 5 of the story-based stealth/adventure, is available now for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Episode 5 concludes the series with a bang, bringing along numerous performance fixes and improvements. It also introduces new gameplay elements and some surprising narrative-branching that might even prompt you to replay the story from its very beginning.

Republique is a story of Hope - the girl who reaches out for your help. You'll view the world through scattered cameras and mobile devices observing, and assisting, Hope in any way that you can. With plenty of secrets and lore (and even easter eggs) to soak in, you'll slowly pick up on bits and pieces of the story of a fugitive heroine in a mysteriously oppressed dystopian future.

Republique Deluxe Edition includes the original Soundtrack, a six-part series The Making of Republique, and two game prototypes that eventually came to be Republique. If you're not ready to commit just yet, you can always get the upgrade later.

The package includes all 5 episodes of the game.

Discover the complete story of Republique, available now DRM-free on GOG.com.

omega64: It sucks just remove it. :P
Wasn't elaborate enough, sorry about that.

I'm still waiting for controller support.
Might actually like the gameplay that way.
Oh OK, I guessed it was something like that but I wasn't sure. Yes, that's the point. :)

JudasIscariot: We've just received the latest video of the "Making of..." and that will be going live in a few hours (I'll update you once it does) and the EP5 soundtrack should be here before the weekend :)

deonast: Nice. I'll download the lot when the last extras come in. I don't mind episodic releases simply because I never get around to playing them until all the episodes are out :)
All the "Making of..." videos are now available in your account :)

Excellent, I'll make sure I get a full night sleep and let it all download. So, so tired.

Yes, you're just a teensy bit late.

Thx for the thread, subscribed ;)
Sad the Wiki is not there anymore.

Still got the normal version in my library but was looking for an VR "upgrade" instead buying it again on steam.

GOG Team could definitively improve communication on added/removed titles.
Maybe some kind of announcement page or like the Last Chance Category for xbox gamepass

Yes, it's definitely not the best experience for us customers. But to be honest I agree with people that said before in other threads that it's a complicated issue for Gog, for example because announcing that a game is leaving/ has left attracts the "bad" kind of attention from the customers, makes them perceive Gog as losing value, etc, and Gog doesn't want that.

As for a "Last Chance" category that's an ugly hornet's nest. Gog doesn't always get an advance on a game's situation changing (for example, when one company buys another's IP) and they are suddenly taken with an order to remove the game from the store effective immediately.

Didn't read through the whole thread - was a re-release ever planned? That was a bummer when I found out that Republique was at some point available on GOG.

Hope it get's re-released now, I really would like to add it to my library.
The linked article only seems to mention console releases.

Wasn't this game remastered once already? (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/republique_remastered is marked as having been completed, once...)

Yeah, the game was removed from GOG just a few days before the launch of a major update because the developers didn't want to make the "big effort" to release it here.
Now the game is free-to-play on Steam.
