Passed on the original, as I'm not much for modern war games. But the sci-fi variant looks cool, and the package deal makes it easy to scoop both up. So well played on your part, GOG.
A thread where the first post has a timestamp ten hours later than the second's... That 404 page must do really strange things to the space-time continuum. :-P

Dalswyn: By the way, if I remember correctly, you said you found Blackguards to be quite enjoyable. It's currently snuggled in my backlog, and I haven't had time recently to breach and clear the latter, but does Blackguards 2 fare equally well in your eyes?
I believe I shall pass on Breach & Clear for now. Perhaps on a future extreme sale.

As for Blackguards, I did indeed find it very enjoyable (2014 GOTY for me). I didn't play Blackguards 2 yet. I want first to replay the first one on Hard (played Normal before).

Is it just me, or does the front page banner for Breach & Clear DEADline look straight out of the opening scene of Darksiders?
ive been playing Breach & Clear off & on for a few years on steam.
Its a good turn based game the design of it means its great for playing in bite sized chunks.
Make your own teams & level them up.

does this include the Frozen Synapse pack

Anything that's included will be noted on the store.
Instabought, I think. After pressing the button to finish the purchase it just go the circle thing going round and round. I checked my library and they are not there. I'll wait a bit, there must be a timeout on that thing.
Looks very tempting - even despite the apparent shortcomings noted in some let's plays and some forum comments.

But, also have some time to think about it ..
I will grab this at some point, maybe wait for the complete version in the future (with the DLC).
did purchase botch games but Breach & Clear do not download using the GOG downloader.
In the GOG downloader Breach & Clear is marked as paused and never download.
I assume I can download them directly trough the browser but I do prefer to use the downloader (NOT galaxy).

I just use firefox to download the files myself unless there are a few 4GB ones in which case I use a third party downloader as sometimes I've had large downloads die out in Firefox. Third party downloader I use is http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ works well if you are on windows

With firefox I also use the flashgot plugin as it makes integration with third party downloaders nice and easy.

I tried my Steam version of B&C.. I did not like it.
I wonder if DEADline is much better.

Deadline is a completely different game. More open roaming levels, different upgrades, you can play it in real time action RPG style a la Torchlight or Diablo or pause to issue commands, there's zombie hordes and human snipers...

It's different. Liking or not liking the original B&C will have very little impact on whether or not you like Deadline except inasmuch as it's ostensibly a tactical special forces game. With zombie esque creatures
