Blood: Fresh Supply is now available DRM-free. If you own the original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood, you can get the remaster 5 USD cheaper (the final discount is 5 USD equivalent, and may vary depending on your region and price in local currency). Offer is valid until June 9th, 3pm UTC.

Battle an army of sycophantic cultists, zombies, gargoyles, hellhounds, and an insatiable host of horrors in your quest to defeat the evil Tchernobog. Squirm through 42 loathsome levels filled with more atmosphere than a Lovecraftian mausoleum. Begin your journey armed with a simple pitchfork and earn more effective implements of destruction like aerosol cans, flare guns, voodoo dolls and more!

Original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood from now on will be available as a free bonus with Blood: Fresh Supply.

SpiderFighter: Blood: Fresh Supply Enhancements:
[...]
Battle it out in local split-screen action
Roll your own soundtrack with full CD and MIDI music support
That's what's up!! Great to see a game finally supporting what I consider truly DRM-free multiplayer! The music feature is very welcome as well.
So I found it does something with colors under dx11 render, even though not sure if it's really 256...

Daniel_Daniel93: Anyone can answer my question earlier???

Why are we talking about politics in a Blood forum???
avatar
gameragodzilla: Dunno. The original discussion was about the original Blood version being bundled with this rather than a separate purchase, which is at least relevant to Blood. lol
It drifted into a discussion of business ethincs, and economic issues liks that generally drift into politics.
But the screaming about achievments is what got to me. If you don't like them in Galaxy, then just ignore them.

mwnn: The store page should really state that the game requires a 64 bit operating system.

Windows 7 64 bit is listed as the minimum requirement over at STEAM:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1010750/Blood_Fresh_Supply/

The installer makes it plain too:
setup_blood_fresh_supply_1.8.4-final_(64bit)_(29375).exe

In though we're in 2019 they'll still be a few out there using 32 bit Windows with x86_64/amd64 CPU's...

Out of interest, the game seems to run reasonably well on Debian Testing via Wine 4.7 but native would be even nicer.
I agree it should specify it requires a 64 bit system.but then 64 bit has become pretty much the standard for operating systems. Can't buy a computer with a 32 bit system anymore. ..although both Windows 7 and 10 have 32bit systems.

Modded, please note that pure political discussion is not allowed on the forum.

Enough about China and politics, this game is horror comedy after all, and not Lovecraftian horror.

Windows only and 5$ extra? Nah, I'll just stick with the original + NBlood instead

GOG.com: Original Blood: One Unit Whole Blood from now on will be available as a free bonus with Blood: Fresh Supply.
Taking a page out of Beamdog's book, I see. That alone makes me not want to buy the remaster.
I've run quickly through the first 2 levels and it is just like old games should be done imho. It's running at 2160p with a locked frame rate. Mouse look works properly. It looks like the original, it's a remaster not a remake. It's still the greatest shooter of the 90's. The experience is better and worth the 5$ upgrade for sure.

I am, however, having a similar issue to some others. Whenever I change something in the video settings the screen goes blank and requires a restart. Annoying. I'm also not sure some video settings are even doing anything. If I go from no AA to 8xMSAA, I don't think I can see any difference- nor does performance take a hit...which makes me wonder if some settings are even being applied. But it could just be that in this type of game, which still isn't really 3D, that it's just hard to see these differences.

First part is highly debatable but I agree with the second. Good to see not everybody is stingy about 5$ for a good remaster.
Once again burying a classic game behind a remaster which does not even come with Linux support. Sad.

I do not consider removing OS support from a game as a good remaster. And removing access to the game card of the original game with all the information also is annoying.

GameRager: I "like" how this and almost every other post questioning the wisdom of rebuying a game with fixes/tweaks one can apply one's self(for the most part) is low rated.

Sometimes blind loyalty(to gog/remake devs) can be bad thing, you know.

MarkoH01: Don't know all those fan mods to be honest but some people knowing those already posted that this remaster seems to be even better than those. Still no use to downvote the post (I don't donvote myself at all if not for insulting postings) ... maybe people simply wanted to show their disagreement that the user called this remake a "cash grab". I mean there's actual work in this remaster and it shows - it's also not really expensive ... I would have problems calling it a cash grab - the Filter-Simon remaster... maybe. As I said - I hate downvoting and always prefer to post my opinion which of course might be a different one.
Yeah, atleast Nightdive aren't charging $3.00 for a portrait pack or for CD music *cough* BeamDog *cough*, And I appreciate the work since the source code probably had to be dug out of the deepest depths of the atari vaults and if it had to be reverse engineered then holy peck, I can only imagine the mountain of work that went into that

Edit: my intention was not to immediately blame BeamDog for all the evil in the world, but old habits I guess

Indeed, the original game did come with full Linux support from GOG. The remaster does not and you have to pay almost twice the price for it.

Well, hopefully this is not that promise of Linux support which silently disappears later.

well technically night dive can claim linux because the original has a linux wrapper
