I am sincerly hoping this is a one-time thing. I am fine with paying for expansions and substantial dlc. However, I am really hoping BATTLETECH doesn't go down the road of monetization with multiple skin releases. I have to point out nearly 5$(CAD) is pretty steep for a single skin for a single mech.

To be clear I love the game and have tons of fun playing it. I just hate seeing games ruined by releasing a million overpriced skins.

Does this DLC give you the Shadow Hawk skins in a single player game? Or is this just giving people access to those really dumb multi-player skins? Either day, it seems kine a rather dumb cash grab designed to try and line Paradox Interactive's pockets just a little more.

It probably is. As far as I remember, this skin was pre order bonus, so it is probably released now so people who didn't want to pre order can get it.

No, it's a cosmetic skin for an already existing mech in the game that previously was Backer/Pre Order exclusive and no super units it's a medium mech.
