Never in the history of the Twelve Colonies have so many sacrificed so much. Even as Colonial Fleet holds the Cylons at bay, the toll of the war continues to climb.

For Admiral Lucinda Cain and the crew of the Daidalos, the time has come to face their greatest threat yet.

Get Battlestar Galactica Deadlock 60% off, and previously released DLC 25% off. The sale ends March 24th, 11 PM UTC.

The sale ends on a Sunday and it does not last until the end of the month, when people get their salary. Bad timing :(
Sweet. Judging from the features list this expansion looks to be as essential as Broken Alliance. Though I've no idea what that line is supposed to mean: 'In Sin and Sacrifice, the epic story of Deadlock continues, and brings with it an exciting conclusion to the Season One storyline.'

Season one?

So people understand:

Reinforcement Pack adds several new ships and munitions that fill vital gaps.

Broken Alliance adds some new story missions to the deadlock campaign.

Anabasis is a special campaign that functions like FTL where your fleet has to survive several turns until it can jump to the next sector while also defending (mostly) helpless civilian ships.

Sin and Sacrifice is a third campaign that's back on the Cyrannus main map. You can import your Deadlock save and continue with your old fleets, or you can start from scratch with a starter fleet.

Im guessing they mean season 1 of the game. Like how Telltale games were split into episodes and seasons. Maybe they have more planned.

It hardly matters. Its only 10% off.

Wait... I just realized you probably meant the the main game, and not just the new expansion. I feel really stupid now.

All parts of the game are on sale at the moment. :)
Odd, there is a review of 3/5 shown by Quawerty, With a title "Beware Internet connection required! visible while hovering over the title of the main game in the sales list, yet that review can not be found. I would really like to read that review, because an always-on Internet requirement would cause me to skip this game.

I needed to update the game anyway, so I figured i might as well make sure. I uninstalled the game, unplugged my internet, rebooted my PC, then reinstalled the game. It works fine. Obviously an error comes up if you try multiplayer, but that seems to be the only problem.

I think I recall the review you're talking about. Best guess - the reviewer must have mistaken the startup menu for DRM. Clicking the exe brings up a menu on the desktop which advertises the developer's latest products before entering the game proper. It's not part of the game itself and no advertisements appear without an Internet connection.

In short, no Internet connection is required to run the game.

Thanks for the reassurance!
Yeah, you can just make your own shortcut from the exe directly to skip the popup menu step entirely.

By "season one" I'm guessing the first season 2 game will be standalone, possibly running in a new engine, and get the subsequent DLCs added to that one.
