NuffCatnip: If there weren't any other games around, maybe, but with Metaphor and the half dozen other games I'm playing right now, not really.
Complains about a DRM-free release to play a heavily DRM-ed one instead. Totally makes sense! =P
Well it's about bloody time, at least they have the decency to launch with a solid discount after such a long wait.
Neat.
Hope Banishers doesn't take this long to make it here.
I was having this game on my wishlist for a long time and finally it is here.

Although it looks a bit like a souls-like game, the game doesn't have a tag like this (e.g. "difficult" or something). So there doesn't seem anything in the way of buying it :)
Thank you GoG!

NuffCatnip: No thanks, won't purchase this, nobody bothered to answer my questions regarding a gog release until maybe a month or so ago once they dropped that info on their Discord.
You realize sometimes those people don't know a thing/are not allowed to disclose that information, right? I understand it can be frustrating, but it's a reality

Like, we're not talking about an obviously rude publisher (like Nicalis)

I complained about the massive delay, not the game itself. :P
If the devs and or publishers weren't as crappy as they were, I'd have purchased this game in an instant.

Me mentioning a PS 5 game I purchased as an example was just to showcase that there's a lot of games out to play. I wouldn't say I lose out on Atlas Fallen if there's so many titles to choose from. :)

I get that, but after politely asking a few times on Discord via PMs (different people, not the same guy over and over again), the least I'd expect is a copy paste 'Sorry, we can't say wether or not titles x releases on platform Y.'

But I got nothing, even triple A publishers give you the courtesy of a response.

And Metaphor even has Denuvo, so it's even more of a laugh.

There are so many times I never get any kind of response and I never hold it against the devs. As long as the game comes here eventually, I'm fine. That said, I'm buying this.

Honestly, there is usually some "big boss" in the background that is almost never on a discount or another chat... and this boss is pulling the strings, no one else. You usually simply ask the wrong people and they get annoyed by the same questions hundred of times they are not even able to answer for certain.

However... if you know the one truly in charge and there is absolutely no answer, it may happen, then it surely is rude.
