Kerchatin: I backed the game on Kickstarter, though I haven't yet received my download code, so I haven't played it yet, but I'm hoping that the game will still prove enjoyable once some of the bugs have been fixed.

shmerl: To get your code, you need to submit your e-mail that you used when backing here: https://www.humblebundle.com/resender
Hi Shmerl! I've seen you around on the Armikrog KS comments page! :)
But, yeah I knew how to get the code. I've backed other games on KS, like Dreamfall Chapters before, which used the exact same system on Humble. This was on Pencil Test's side, as my email hadn't been added to the system yet and I always got a response on the key resender effectively telling me that I didn't have access to the page yet. (I didn't mind waiting though, so it really wasn't a big deal.)

The same thing happened to me with Dreamfall - when keys/humble pages were being released, and I couldn't receive mine, I emailed Red Thread to ask if something was wrong and they told me that emails were being added to the system in batches and it so happened that mine was one of the later ones that hadn't been done yet.
As it turned out, this is what ultimately happened here too.

Anyway, I ended up getting my download codes last night and took the game for a spin!
-----------------

I haven't finished it yet, but so far, I really do enjoy it and it's certainly met my expectations (especially after all of the negative feedback).
I must be lucky, because I did not experience a single bug the whole time, Saves worked properly, etc.
But anyway, the game is, I think, very good if you're a fan of the Neverhood.
I will admit that I don't think it's quite as good as the Neverhood, but to be fair, I doubt that was ever going to be the case, especially with how much nostalgia is associated with it for most players.
But it captures nearly every aspect of the style, humour and gameplay and I found it very enjoyable.

The only real negative, I think, is the soundtrack. It's good, but the number of tracks is pretty small and the ones that are on offer just aren't anywhere near as good as other Terry Scott Taylor work. I think for one thing, the fact that most of the songs lack vocals is a big factor.

Overall though, if you're a fan of the Neverhood, you're likely to enjoy this too. It perhaps wont have the same impact, but it's got plenty to offer all the same.

Yeah, I bugged developers there about the lack of GOG release for backers ;)

Glad you got it eventually. I also asked developers if they plan to open their closed forum to the public, but it seems they aren't planning to do it so far.

priestlyjudas: hi guys,

For some unfathomable even to myself reason, I had this game pre-ordered. I don't normally like, or am good at adventure games. I guess I mainly wanted to support GoG. So, yesterday I fired up the game as soon as I could, and promptly proceeded to get stuck at the second possible puzzle - the one that comes after the main hero 'climbs up a floor' in a manner of speaking and has to arrange the correct objects in a 3x3 grid in order to open a door. So what I'm saying, is there a walkthrough out already? Either way, even if I never play this game again I'd be fine with having payed as much for it, since it's a completely new (to the best of my knowledge) art style, that has not been explored much.

zeffyr: Those symbols are unique for each game you play. Just visit the areas you have access to and you'll get the clues :-)
Uuuuhm, I've had access to two areas. Three, if you count the 'tunnel' the 'dog' can access. So yeah, maybe adventure games aren't my fit :D

Hint: look carefully in the tunnel and in the area at the end of it :-)
