The first one was good for a stealth game. Unfortunately other than your teleport and hiding in shadows abilities you die very quickly if youre discovered, so theres only the stealth option and you dont feel all that powerful. Its good, just very linear and one way to go through it.

This looks good, but Ill be waiting to see some reviews on it.

I think it's a feature. (You can run away if you're discovered. But that costs rank, so I usually restart the map.)

I have two complaints about the first one wrt stealth:
- sometimes, the target sees me right before getting stabbed, and that costs me rank
- guards are dumb and don't give a damn about their missing comrades.

I'd rather not be penalized if the target sees me but can't alert anyone, but have guards notice when they're disappearing one by one and change patterns and raise the alarm even if they never get to see me.

Also, ranks are annoying. The most fun I had with 1 was when I rushed into a new map, did things, alerted everyone and got out, then picked them off. Killing guys who don't even get to appreciate it isn't as entertaining.
(2 has combat as a feature, so maybe I can play that way normally. ¡Instacompra!, but not on broadband so I can't check just yet.)

Did not play the first, but glad the second gets a complete release here.

Wishlisted.
Does anyone know if they are going to do it for Linux?

Based on this thread it isn't looking likely.,..

<Excerpt from Developer>

Hi everyone! I'm going to try and give an honest and objective answer, not trying to incite any kind of "OS war" or similar, I just want to be transparent with this topic.

It took a team of 10 people significant amount of time and effort to develop ports of the game for Mac and Linux, which is not as easy as hitting a "build" button on Unity. We need to test the build on the target hardware, establish a pipeline to generate and update builds each time there's a new patch/update, and try to give support to players with issues on those platforms.

To this day, the Steam stats show that:

0.6% of Aragami players have played it on Linux.
1.7% of Aragami players have played it on OS X.
97.7% of Aragami players have played it on Windows.

With those numbers at hand, it's certainly difficult to justify a Linux or Mac version.

There's no Linux or Macs at the office. We could just try and publish Linux/Mac builds without proper testing and with no support for bugs/crashes, but that's a route I don't want to take for all the obvious reasons.

But, but... Unity is so magical, so cute, ,,democratic,, and multi-platform!!
What's the usage of all its telemetry then?
Analyze who I am and my in-game behavior only??
This game is the closest to the Tenchu series that I loved so much back in the day. I've never played the first Aragami, but from what I know, it only permits stealth kills and no alternate methods such as combat like in the Tenchu games. While I love stealth and rely on it heavily even in the Tenchu games, combat was an option that I always loved and it made sense in boss battles. From what I've seen of Aragami 2, that is now an option so that's super cool. I will probably get this and test it out first on Windows and then on Linux (through Wine; hopefully it works).
Can we get TENCHU on GOG as a game that uses the playstation emulator like how we got metal gear solid games

It's a real shame what happened to bleem, Tenchu is a game that needs to be remade, That and bushido blade!

Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2 had PC ports, they are not emulated PSX games.

Thanks, it's nice to have your help.

I want to know your feedback on Wine, because I heard that the video sequences could be made in proprietary formats.
This is the cause of the bad sales of Linux, the game worked very badly at the beginning, it took a lot of work to fix it!

No, Unity is off topic.
Only Steam sales analysis are here, the developers never talk about GOG sales, they just never talk about GOG!
