Combo attack!

Absolver is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

A tactical fighting game where every duel has its own story, Absolver lets you customize your style and engineer your own flow, building a Combat Deck from a wide range of weapons and attacks to tackle both PVE and PVP challenges.

Punch higher with the Deluxe Edition, which includes a 52-page artbook and the game's soundtrack.

NOTE: The game supports crossplay between GOG and Steam players.

Watch the trailer.

Bought the game to play solo.
Downloaded without Galaxy client and it run fine ^^
Maybe I'll try Galaxy later for the multi...the game is just awesome!
Really excited to play this, and Furi looks pretty great as well.

As for the DRM discussion, the needs for multiplayer are different from those of single player, so applying the same logic to both means obviating that there are two different functionalities in one game. Different functions, different needs - single player doesn't need Galaxy or some other platform; getting super strict, MP doesn't either, but I'm sure I'm far from alone in saying that I don't miss the days of looking up IPs and that manual server browsing was incredibly time-consuming. Stuff like Galaxy (hell, even Steam) makes the MP experience more friendly in many ways.
Works on:
Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10)

System requirements:
Minimum system requirements - Windows: 7 / 8 / 10 (64-bit only)
Processor: Intel Core i3-6300 (2 * 3800) or AMD A10-5800K APU (4 * 3800) or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GT 560Ti (1024 MB) or Radeon HD 6850 (1024 MB) or better
DirectX: Version 9.0
Storage: 7 GB available space
Additional Notes: Gamepad recommended.

Klumpen0815: Can you smell the refunds coming? ;)
They've fixed it now but I'm puzzled as to why they don't add the '64-bit only' part in the 'Works on' section.

I'll try to cross post here as I think the GOG team does not monitor the games forums.

I pre-purchased the Deluxe Edition and I'm unable to download the game by any known way.

Galaxy install says: Unauthorized
Galaxy standalone downloader says: failed
Website library says: You don't own the base game
Website GOG downloader links says: 404

I have, now. I haven't earlier because I thought it could be solved faster than going the support ticket way. I can't possibly be the only one with this issue.

They're recommending a controller and it doesn't look like keyboard controls can be reconfigured. I don't have the game though, so I'm not certain.

Prian: Bought it yourself ? I dont think so.... i just searched the forums and the kids who bought are telling there´s a DRM for multiplayer.... So:
i dont give a rat´s ass about "you need that for multiplayer".
GOG - your DRM free seller.

mystral: So... anyone who actually bought the game and either doesn't care about the multiplayer DRM or doesn't plan on using multiplayer (and therefore the game is DRM-free to them) is a kid
Xactly, but additionally i enjoy reading this immense shit coming outta your fingers. I for myself dont care about DRM, too. But i dont take it as normal to be messed around with. DRM free platform - my middle finger.
Steam is the only one to go to now - they never made hollow promises about customer - care. Or OneWorldOnePrice. Or DRM. Or RegionLock. Or. Or. Or.
So please, rep me down, but dont answer. I cant stand your "opinion", kid.

10 minutes in and I'd say they're pretty serviceable.
Not clunky or anything at all. Comparable to Witcher 3, minus the jumping of course.

Just needs getting used to, like in any other game I guess.

So far I only encountered 4 keys (for the 4 stances of every fighting style) you cannot rebind via the ingame options.
Thanks to Autohotkey this isn't really that much of a problem though.

And again, no ingame option to change the language. Seems to be an inherent problem of all Unreal Engine games.

Thanks to both of you, as long as using a kb&m is available that's a start.
Although in game rebinding would be better.....
Pad only is a no go, buying then, hope the controls aren't to bad.
To change the language you need to add -culture=en at the end of the shortcut path.
Game shortcut - properties - target - Absolver.exe -culture=en.

Hope it help ^^

"culture" lol
Looking forward to people's thoughts on the solo content. I'm on the fence until I hear more about it.

People seem positive about the gameplay at least. Most of the complaints I've seen are about performance and bugs, which isn't surprising to hear on day 1.
