AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed is an action-adventure JRPG, in which in Tokyo’s popular ”Electric Town” district, Akihabara, vampires called “Synthisters” walk among us. You must identify and dispose of them the only way you know how – by engaging them in hand-to-hand combat in order to strip them of their clothes so their bodies melt away in the sunlight.

Now, 7 DLCs for this title are joining out catalog in the form of:
Complete Outfit Set
Kati's Route + Complete Outfit Set
Kati's Route DLC Upgrade
Mana Kitada's Outfit
Rui Fumizuki's Outfit
Sara's Outfit
Sena Kitada's Outfit

Check them out and enhance your experience!

MarkoH01: If the publisher is not interes6ted in GOG there's nothing GOG can do and yes, IF the publisher is interested in GOG it is GOGs decision to accept or reject them ... so far I haven't heard that any Xseed game has been rejected by GOG so my point stays in this case.

Seeing how many xseed games we have here on GOG already it's at least unlikely - although not impossible - that GOG rejected them.

We have more MangaGamer titles than XSEED titles and yet we have (or at least had, until elon started assholing around) black on white from Mangagamer that GOG is being selective about what they release -- rejected.
I did not say that it is impossible, I said that it is unlikely. As long as you don't read any reports of them being rejected I see no reason to think that they were ... even if this would be the case. Right now we have nothing concrete so given the history of xseed here I guess chances are higher that they simply did not approach GOG yet. In any case there's one thing I know for sure: GOG will never reveal which games they are trying to get or which they will or have rejected - that's GOGs policy. So we can talk about this all day and all night and won't get to the final truth in this case :)

On topic: I have a reply from clownski about the missing DLC sites:
"We had to take them down temporarily. Should go back up after the issue with the DLCs has been fixed."

So they will come back.

In one hand i appreciate the answer in another : he didn't give the reason :S (maybe he doesn't know the reason aside to be fixed... but i doubt).

Fixed ? extra content (package ones) ain't ready / tested when they announce it ?

I noticed that this game lost Overlay support. Back in 2021 there was one and I could make screenshots.

Will I still earn achievements even without overlay?

Under normal circumstances yes, they should unlock normally. You will just not get an on-screen notification when they do.
Consider contacting Xseed regarding the overlay problem.

Yes, they will still work but not shown. If you want popups shown,

Akiba's Trip - actual release - works out of the box fine with forced overlay.

Just keep in mind that this is forcing overlay for every game and some aren't compatible with the overlay (in that case you would have to add those games with additional executable which will disable overlay no matter if it is forced or not).

In the folder "\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy" you will find the file "config.json" (Programda is a hidden folder so you might habe to activate "show hidden folders" in explorer first to see it).

Edit the file with a texteditor like notepad++ and add the line "forceEnableOverlay": true before the "}". Keep in mind that every line in the config will have to end with a "," except the last one. Configs do look different for everybody but I've attached a screenshot of mine for better understanding. After doing this you might have to restart Galaxy as well for it to read the config again.

Thanks. I did everything correct first time. It's just the method refuses to work on Win7 but worked fine when I booted Win11.

Unfortunately GOG still has not fixed the DLC packages. Days after release I am unable to purchase what I want to purchase. Strange company policy: releasing a game without giving access to the product.

Between the DLC bundles going missing and the Yakuza: Like a Dragon discount ending early, I'm going to hold off on making any more GOG purchases for a bit.

Edit: Looks like the bundles are fixed.

Today I revisited some old topics where I found some strange and funny mistakes made by GOG team. This one is one of my favorites - What do you think about DLC for the game (AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead & Undressed) that cost !!!!!!293.19 bucks!!!!!, YES, that is not a joke. DLC cost almost 300 Dollars! If you do not believe me, I made a screenshot (gog-funny-prices-2024-03-02--01A-edited) and highlighted DLCs and their price. I live in Ukraine and maybe in other countries the prices are correct but in my case, I need to pay !!! 293.19 !!! Bucks for DLCs that is ridiculous and funny at the same time. I do not know how that is possible. What I can say with 100% guarantee - GOG team knows how to do that, LOL/
Update: I also added DLC to the cart to see if the price will be high, and it is. Even in a cart, the price for DLC does not correct itself (screenshot - gog-funny-prices-2024-03-02--01b-edited).
Also, I want to ask someone from Ukraine to check if they have the same price for DLCs for the game, or maybe the situation is different.

Same prices for me. They never fixed them.

Well at least Kati Route and Kati + All Swimsuts are normal prices. Just buy those.
