Age Of Wonders 3 & D:OS ARE regional priced here. Fair price package is still granted for these games.

So it must be a bug what you have seen...
"It's not a bug, it's a feature" has never been more fitting.

Everything standard for me - with regional pricing, Checked AOE 3 and the standard blue coin package is there.

Yep regional pricing is back. Strange bug. And good that I have not been online before or I would have been seriously tempted to test out the bug :D
Ah, I seem to have slept through the glitch. I suspect that the switch-over from sale mode to regular mode screwed up something on the servers. A shame, how awesome would have been an announcement that GOG had gone back to One World Pricing.
I wouldn't wonder if the bug will occur from time to time. After all it's a win-win situation. People who oppose the regional pricing can buy the games flat-priced for a short time and GOG gets some data about the number of people who is willing to do so. The developers on the other hand will get a pretty high price for their games, because some people will buy it right away, just because they are happy that the game isn't regionally priced any longer and fear that the old pricing sceme will be back in a few hours.

It's not a bug, it's a diabolic plan to get our money. ;-)

As awesome as that would be I am sure the games leaving as a result of us doing what you describe would not be seen as something awesome.

Just my 2 cents or .50 eurocents :)

Well, my assessment of the awesomeness was contingent on GOG having actually muscled the publishers back into One World Pricing, not having made the change unilaterally. In that latter case I expect there would be a mass defection of titles, which is not desirable.

Or as we've seen with some recent additions, 2 cents = 2 eurocents. :)

You forgot the most important regional pricing rule: 1 Euro = 1 Dollar

Fixed it for you.

That's what ShinyLoot and Desura say about DRM in their games. :)
Wow, so much tension suddenly in this thread, with everyone trying to answer clever and subtle... ;)
Anyone used the glitch and bought a "regional priced" game?

I have to admit that I picked up This War of Mine. Was really interested in this game and quite sad when it arrived regionally priced.

I didn't notice any tension in the thread myself :)
As you have already noticed the bug is over and we are back in Kansas.
MaGog compared the prices before the bug and after it and they are not identical.

The differences apply only to one game:

Before the bug (i.e. say 48 hours ago):
Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest [Upcoming] [DLC], reg_price_au: 17.39
Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest [Upcoming] [DLC], reg_price_de: 18.79
Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest [Upcoming] [DLC], reg_price_gb: 15.99
Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest [Upcoming] [DLC], reg_price_pl: 18.79
Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest [Upcoming] [DLC], reg_price_ru: 10.09
[BR same as US]

After the bug (i.e. now):
Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest [Upcoming] [DLC], reg_price_ru: 6.09
[AU, BR, DE, GB, PL same as US]
