Radiance1979: nvidia stated, 3070 recommended..... and with the 3070 slightly outperforming a 2080super i am not even sure what this would mean for the very outdated 1080Ti tbh

data transport almost feels like it tripled with the next gen console releases so yea, this is ' bout the time everyone lost their heads and instead of delivering optimized products just go for the raw power provided by the new machinery

with that said, i almost can't belief i would have better results with a 2060super then you have with your 1080Ti, even if my card is backed by a 10600k. Would it not be more of a plan to be patient and wait until CDRP have their optimizations right?

Nazora1: tbf rtx cards has dlss which can give massive performance boost that older pascal cards do not
The dlss implementations is going pretty slow but yea it is amazing, playing control on a 1700 x xxxx resolution a.i. enhanced to 2k with rtx enabled and some other goodies at a stable 60 fps is quite out there .. though i thought the 10 series with software rtx could also benefit from dlss in a way, of course those cards lack the a.i. right

another silly game btw, per aspera uses that thing too, i'm sure of it!!!! before every a.i. reflection in game the gpu usage spikes a couple of percents ( 10/20% ), now i've just watched a video where is told that nvidia's image of the future is a small cpu backed by a very intelligent gpu that will almost take over all off the tasks but i did not realize the future is that near!

Makes you wonder what indeed will happen in the coming years! personally i might be inflicted to choose between intel or nvidia!
