How do I redownload a game i bought without gog galaxy. I uninstalled galaxy and the gone wont work now so I want to download it again. Advice appreciated.

1. Highlight over your username
2. Games [#]
3. Find or search for your game and click on it
4. Download offline backup game installers
5. Click on each populated row and save to PC to install

You can download the offline backup installers through the website.
Hover over your account name, then click "games". You should see your game (Far Cry). Click it, and ignore the big blue button, but click "offline backup installers" below. Download all the installer files and place them in the same directory. When you have everything, start the exe of the installer.

You don't need Galaxy to install and run games (except for some multiplayer games).

Thank you very much for your answer. The reason I wanted to download and play it free of gog galaxy is because the cheats didn't work and I was hoping they would work this way. Unfortunately they still don't but at least now I know how to do this much.

You shouldn't have needed to re-download the game (Offline installer). Galaxy is not mandatory, except for some online multiplayer elements in some games.

All you needed to change is what EXE file in the installed game folder, you executed.

One EXE will start Galaxy as well, to monitor achievements etc. If Galaxy isn't found, no doubt the process fails.

Another EXE file will just start the game just like with the Offline installer version.
