It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I have looked around and many people are saying there isn't a way to redeem Steam keys online but on Humble Bundle when you claim a key for a game like for example the Fortified game, it takes you to a page where you can click a green "redeem" button which takes you to this link
https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey?key= (there is a key here)

So does this mean i could put any key there and easily redeem it without going to the client?
this is probably old news :P

It works yes. That is what I use abroad and on my laptop as I did not install Steam on it.

I have it saved as a bookmark so I can easily get to it.

The option to do so isn't too old (it was introduced last year), which is why people still think it's impossible to redeem keys via browser. That and the fact that there isn't any mention of it on the Steam website itself. And yes, you can totally use this link to redeem your other Steam keys as well.
Thx
This is revolutionary! XD
I will definitely save it as a bookmark now. :D
