Im thinking of buying myself a new device for christmas this year. Ideally I want it to have something I can do mobile GOG gaming on and use for a few other things. I was thinking of just a regular windows tablet but the lack of dedicated keyboard and mouse makes a lot of GOG impractical.

-portable for flights or on the couch play
10inch screen or less
-tablet or netbook with solid attachable keyboard (not those flimsy add-on keyboards that connect via a cloth case/stand thing)
-windows based OS so I can do GOG games
-decent other specs so I can watch movies on it too

I really like the specs on a lot of the 7-8 inch windows tablets for this but they all have the lame flimsy non solid keyboards. Seems like 10inch is the min to get a real keyboard.

Anyone have anything like this right now they do mobile GOG gaming on?
Don't know about the most recent iteration(s), but the last couple years, I'd heard a lot of good things about the Surface Pro. I've got no firsthand experience with tablets or ultra-light laptops, though.
I don't have a great answer, but I'll give you some points for thought.

I mainly game on Android tablets these days. I find the OS easier for mobile use than Windows and I like that games on it are adapted to touch. I will, however, probably move to an iPad for my next tablet, for better games compatibility and a wider choice of PC games. I play mostly games that originate on the PC. Currently I'm playing Syberia 2. I've played quite a few adventure games and also own Shadowrun Returns / Dragonfall, Baldur's Gate 1,2, KOTOR, Final Fantasy 4 and more.

In short, I feel that buying a tablet with a "real tablet OS" and native games is a good solution for mobile gaming, better than trying to shoehorn Windows games to mobile gaming.

I do own a Windows tablet, the ASUS VivoTab Note 8. The active stylus is helpful for PC adventure games since it has hover and right-click functionality. I also bought GestureWorks Gameplay, a program which allows adding touch controls to pretty much every game, although it's unfortunately Steam-only. I also bought a controller. With all that, I hardly do a thing with it, I much prefer my Android tablet (currently a Galaxy Tab S 8.4, which is not that great for games, unfortunately, but is a nice all around tablet).

Now I'll assume that, like you asked, you want a portable Windows solution with a keyboard.

First of all, do you really need a device with a tablet mode, or would a lightweight laptop be enough? If you really want keyboard use, a "real" laptop will be better than a convertible tablet. 2-in-1's tend to have keyboards at a fixed angle and/or require a flat surface to use, while classic laptops are more flexible for keyboard use.

Secondly, don't define screen size limits, rather device weight/size limits. Screen size doesn't directly translate to size and weight. There's of course a relationship, but one 11.6" device can weigh less than another 10" device, just like my 8.4" Galaxy Tab S is lighter than my old 7" Nexus 7 2012.

That's it for now. I'd be happy to discuss it further if you want.

Edit: Anandtech recently recommended the ASUS Transformer Book T100HA as a good entry level 2-in-1 device.
