Recently giveaways on the GOG front page have been accompanied by the caveat "By clicking the ‘Add to library’ button, I agree to receive marketing communication from GOG sp. z o.o. on my email address and through GOG services, connected to my GOG account"
I have wondered if this was a one-off, and not clicked the 'Add to library' button, but as time goes on and it keeps happening I wonder if this is the price of give-aways on an ongoing basis.
What do people think? Getting future give-aways will depend on getting added to the mailing list?
What do people do? Click 'Add to library' and then go and opt-out of the mailing-list? Or click 'Add to library' and then add a filter in their mail client to handle such incoming messages? How have people adjusted to this trend? I'm wondering what way forward to consider.
